You've got a friend

This question "What is a friend?" is like asking "What is Love?".

"When you're weary, feeling small. When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all. I'm on your side, oh... when times gets rough, and friends just can't be found, like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down.... This is a very nice song about friendship. So soothing and very deep in meaning.

A friend, a real person whom you are very at ease and easily get along with and whom you can trust.

There are times in our lives when problems, frustrations and depression seems to make us so down and stress that we think that the world is our enemy. That feeling of lonesome and sufferings seems to envelope us. In times like this, a friend is all we need to talk to and understand us. Any problems that we encounter is difficult if we don't have someone to talk to or to turn to. Facing so many problems such as financial and sickness in the family, deep emotional crises and problems in the family is very discouraging and stressful. It hurts so much when you need money very badly and nobody lends it to you because that person thinks you don't have the capacity to pay. But a good friend comes along and help you make it through. Isn't it a miracle! You've found a friend who helps you along the way. No buts, no questions and no promises when you can repay your friend.

Friendship is another word for Love. Deep love is deep friendship. Time is always present between friends. They have time for each other. Communication and bonding is also always there between them. In order for friends to remain friends, and that love to remain is constant communication. The sharing of thoughts, the meeting of the minds, the laughter that you share for each other are very important to make that friendship last. Understanding and love goes with friendship.

If you have a friend you can turn to in times of deepest problems, you are indeed fortunate to find that person. You've got a friend!
