Yuma Asami only started in the Japanese AV industry in 2005 but she almost immediately became one of the most popular actresses in the industry. In the years 2006 and 2007 her movies sold more than any other JAV actress. She is renowned for her large, natural breasts and for her her innocent, wide-eyed beauty.
Yuma Asami was born in March, 1987, in Tokyo. After acting school in Tokyo she appeared in several mainstream TV dramas before joining the lucrative AV business in 2005 at age 18. Most of her work has been with director Kengo for the JAV company Alice Japan. She has also made movies for the JAV company, S1 No. 1 Style.

AS well as her success in The JAV business Yuma Asami has branched out into other show business areas. She starred in a 12 week series aired on TV Tokyo beginning in April 2006. The series was based on the manga of the same name and she plays the character Komori Miha.
In 2008 she starred in a mainstream erotic movie with another well known Japanese AV actress Yuria Hidaka. The movie premiered in April, 2008 and has been a best seller in the DVD charts. Asami showed off her hitherto unsuspected singing voice by releasing her first J-pop CD, called Resolution at the start of 2008.
Her career started off at a rapid pace and is continuing at the same rate. Yuma Asami is one of the most successful JAV actresses ever. She is almost a legend in Japan and her fame is rapidly spreading internationally.
