I often wonder, does the flavor of ice cream you chose somehow correlate to the kind of men you fancy? Let's list 30 flavors of ice cream and find out.

The number 1 flavor on my list today happens to be vanilla. Vanilla is one of life's simple flavors. Derived from the vanilla bean or pod native to Mexico and later introduced to Europe in the 1520's. Coincidentally, however, the vanilla bean or orchard is very hard to cultivate in other regions outside of Central America or Mexico due to its symbiotic relationship with the Melipona bee.

So it is safe to say that if your favorite ice cream pick is simple vanilla, you are probably attracted to the white boeey but have a pretty hard time getting them to do anything they don't want to do.

Later chocolate chips were introducted to vanilla ice cream. Things start to get a little more complicated down the line. You would think that a little more flavor to vanilla would make it quite a treat.

Instead of a white boy with blonde hair, now we have some contrast. The white boy with brown hair. This combiniation is pleasing to some, yet to others, the chocolate chips just ruin the already perfect vanilla flavor.

Moving on, we come to Latte, this is like a white boy with a little spunk, not so white you're blinded by his light, but toned down enough, with a subtle bitterness that is sweet as candy but robust enough to energize your sleepy disposition when regular vanilla has become too boring.

By this time you may have moved on to a more engaging flavor like chocolate. Chocolate is like the flavor of champions. You can tone down the amount of chocolate you want, mix in some vanilla cream, add some brownie mix, chocolate chips and whatever else you may like without taking too much away from the original chocolate flavor. The added bonus is that is it naturally caffeinated, contains antioxidants and serotonin as well as dopamine making you feel...happy!

If chocolate is on your pick for favorite flavors you probably do not have a specific type of man but enjoy a variety as long as they make you feel happy. Can't go wrong with that, well....until you break up. Then the sudden drop in serotonin and dopamine can make a perfectly happy person become pretty sad. In which case, I suggest you move on!

Now that you know about chocolates ups and down, and have decided to keep trying out these flavors, we have come the the berry department. Woo Hoo!

The famous sorbets: orange, strawberry, rasberry, blueberry....All delicious flavors packed full of all the good stuff like vitimin A, C, E, B12, B10, kerotine, and so on. (of course you aren't going to get your full recomended dose eating ice cream, but hey...:))

Sorbets are like the punk rock variety of men. They are simply rebellious, not natural to creamed ice yet for some reason, they are naturally rooted to the Earth, simplistic in every faction, emo of sorts; if you leave them out too long they melt and while you may feel aggravated at their inability to fix themselves...

If you are a sorbert gal, be prepared to do a lot of work. Like a berry, if you squeeze them they pop, cry and whine and beg. Sorbets are sweet and oh so delicious but not a good recommendation for ice cream.

Now that we have made it through list one, things get a little more complicated. It is pretty natural to desire more exotic flavors such as mint chocolate chip.

They are specific to your flavor pallet. You have moved on from the ordinary to the extraordinary and with that comes a lot of soul searching, a desire to fulfill a specific need.

In this case you have to take a little taste of all the flavors to be sure which one is best for you. You may find that raspberry and white chocolate are an exotic combination and a well balanced flavor but after awhile the romance fizzles and an affair is required. You feel the need to test the Arctic waters a little more just to be sure.

Each flavor seems to have something you need or want but when you have made it to the rainbow you soon realize that many of these flavors are better off friends than marriage material. Full of life, love and fun but a commitment seems impossible. So when a rainbow suggest that you move on down to the rocky road, you know you have made a remarkable achievement.

Yes, rocky roads can be a little frustrating too. Sometimes you take a bite full of chocolate covered peanuts and marshmallows and you want more and more and more until eventually all you are left with is chocolate and vanilla.

Now it is time to check out.  You have taken your time and made a decision.  The bad part is that you still have to pay for it.  Whether you have paid for it by trail and error or emotional ruines, you can be assured that all these flavors come at a price. 

You may even find yourself broke when you finally know which flavor is your favorite but you can be sure that if you take your time to taste them all that the one you love the most was well worth every penny!  Enjoy.
