Professional and consumer reviewers alike were generally quite pleased with Zazzle. In general the reviews included fast shipping, a quality end product and an online image editing tool that is user friendly as some of the advantages of the service. However, the issue of quality was contested by users of Epinions.com. Many of the users on this website felt the quality was quite poor. Other complaints included poor customer service.

TopTenReviews.com – The editors of TopTenReviews.com gave Zazzle an overall rating of three out of four. The customer support for this personal t-shirt design company was highly praised for having a FAQ with all of the information you need. It was also noted that emails to the customer support team were answered promptly. The editors gave both the design features and the apparel options a rating of three. The omission of polo shirts in the apparel option was noted by the editors. In regard to design options, the editors were pleased to see Zazzle offered all of the necessary design features such as the ability to modify the size, rotation or location of the imported design. However, they also reported the website did not contain any advanced tools. 

Epinions.com – Over 700 users offered their opinion of Zazzle on epinions.com and the vast majority of them were very pleased with this service. The overall rating was a 4.5 out of five indicating strong customer satisfaction. The reviews are somewhat misleading with many users giving a rating of one or two and complaining of issues such as poor customer service and poor quality. However, the reviews account for only 60 of the over 700 ratings. The reviews are much more favorable with many users giving the service a rating of four or five. These satisfied customers were typically happy with the fast shipping, ease of navigation of the website and quality product.

BizRate.com – BizRate.com boasts over 2500 reviews of Zazzle. The fun smiley scale indicates the average overall rating for the service is good with a rating of 7.7 out of ten. The users indicated they felt the pre-ordering and post order fulfillment were good in most aspects giving an average rating of good for all but two of these components. The availability of products was given an excellent rating of nine out of ten. However, the users were not satisfied with the shipping charges giving this aspect of the service a rating of 6.7 out of ten.

Forbes.com – Victoria Murphy Barret reviewed Zazzle for Forbes.com The review was mostly positive citing rapid turnaround as one of the most notable advantages of this service. She also praised the quality of the product and the unique printing system. The ability to easily modify images is also noted as an advantage. Although not necessarily a disadvantage, it is noted that Zazzle rejects approximately 5% of all orders on the basis of copyright violation.
