Zeitgeist Movie - Reality or Fantasy
74Conspiracy theory, Zeitgeist in particular, was the topic of discussion in the bar one night. It was an open debate where it seemed many of the patrons within earshot were uncomfortable with the subject matter. Then a fellow turned to me and asked me a few questions which were as follows.
What is your reaction to the conspiracy movie "Zeitgeist"? Is there truth in it, or should it be written off as fictitious?
I pondered for a moment and basically responded in a defensive manner. One never knows who's eyes are on you; big brother is always watching.
My response: "Well you know mate, I never really gave it much thought."
And i just basically left it at that, finished by mug of draught, tipped the waiter and left the bar. But on my way home i couldn't help but to recall the Zeitgeist movie and all of it's chilling implications to the global community should any of it's message to mankind be true.
The Zeitgeist movie is basically a picture of an apocalypse similar to the message that one would encounter when reading the final book of the Christian Bible. That book is called Revelations and it's full of bloody horror announcing the coming of a dark person or entity who wishes to be a saviour and who would stop at nothing to achieve that end.
The Zeitgeist movie however is not based on the Book of Revelation.
The word Zeitgeist itself is no doubt not ficititious. It is a word that means "spirit of the time" and it's roots can be traced back to Germany and the 1760's where it was used to describe a type of "guardian spirit".
Zeit is time as Geist is spirit.

Zeitgeist - Alternative Truth
As far as theory conspiracies go the Zeitgeist movie certainly holds up with the very best of them. For those who haven't seen it, It's a story that can be viewed in it's entirety on Google Videos by searching Zeitgeist, the Movie.
The entire movie is filled with convenient information, sometimes without qualified sources, used in an attempt to debunk the known truths of certain groups and events. It offers " an alternative truth" to what is Christianity, why events like 9/11 occur, and what the international bankers' mandate is.
Now i say "alternative truth" since the majority of people don't buy into these conspiracy theories. To them Christianity is based on the birth a JC, 9/11 was the work of an Afghanistan madman, and international banker's are our friends and they have the best intentions for humanity, and protect us by allocating financial resources wisely.
The conspiracy theory of this movie takes on more of the look of the Book of Revelation when the topic of RFID microchips come into play. In the sacred book this would be pegged as the mark of the beast or that eerie 666 number which is said to be forced (deceived onto the masses) on the masses. Those who don't accept the mark are disallowed to buy, sell, or trade.
At this point i'm kind of thinking about the financial global crisis and the possibility that, just maybe, the truth of a cashless society is at our doorstep, and with it comes a one world order, and a new world king.
Old philosophers would have termed this archetype the philosopher king.
The movie goes on to mention the involvement of major groups such as the Bilderbergs, the Masonic Lodges, and others who are currently in control of much of the worlds resources and who are about to impose their will on humanity in order to keep that control.
Their work and their ability to cloak their intentions of global domination has been an ongoing ritiual of secrecy for centuries, so the story goes.
Finally my walk comes to an end and i am home and i realize that i was in deep thought throughout. It was one of those trance moments where time is untime.
Zeitgeist, Illuminati, Esoteric Knowledge
Once inside the house i go over the question that the fellow in the bar asked me.
What's your reaction to the conspiracy movie "Zeitgeist"? Is there any truth to it, or should it just be written off as fictitious?
And i close the door and move towards the window without opening on the light. I open the curtain just ever so slightly, just to see if maybe he'd followed me. The ever seeing eye of big brother may be upon me.
But that can't be....it's all just fantasy until it's reality.
So, though i would never admit it publicly, i think Zeitgeist, the Movie is just fantasy until it's reality.
So, i my mind i file that one under esoteric knowledge and conspiratorial probabilities involving the illuminati and the guardian spirit known as the spirit of the time.

True....but there sure are a lot of paranoid people popping out of the woodworks nowadays and they really have wild imaginations
I have watched the movie. I am a banker at a growing financial institution. After watching this movie I had many thoughts going through my mind. I believe, as you do, that this movie absolutely does have some truths to it. The truths of the future are coming more real every passing day. I can see comparison of Zeitgeist and the book of Revelation. I cant help but wonder, myself, that our goverment is possibly the devil dictating and controlling our thoughts and behaviors. It is hard to wrap your mind around the fact that this theory may have truths. It is easier to disregard the messages, to go along with the majority of the people, because these are not the messages we hear every day. I do agree with you that the Zeitgeist theory will not be real until it is reality.
You are a rare individual amongst bankers Ashley. I personally don't think the governments perse are the true evil agents but more the puppets of bigger global forces. Some politicians have good intentions but passing laws on good intentions is not so easy. I am currently looking into grid computing and how it's effects play a role on global paradigms....IMO it's that ability to communicate so easily on a global level that is the main focus of massive changes in the near future. On the flip side of the same coin it's the power of ideologies and global reality borders clashing against virtual borders that will bring about major controversy and perhaps wars. Ironic how the will of a few could possibly alter the greatest moments in the evolution of humanity.
My englysh is not the best but I'm trying to be as accurate as I can.
I saw this movie 1 year ago and I can say is the best documentary I ever saw.
The part about religion is certainly true, ther's no doubt in it.
About WTC... there are a lot of evidences about the USA involvement, but we can say it's the truth or not.
The part about finances...well I'm to young to pronounce myself, I have a small knowledge in this domain but it's still an interesting theory.
In conclusion, Zeitgeist is a documentary that every person should watch in his manipulated life.
transylvania, your english is fine but believeing in part one about religion is laughable and insane.
Do some serious research my man... my man... too many of you

I haven't seen the movie but it sounds interesting the way you described it. As for conspiracy theories go - all they take is little paranoia and a lot of imagination! Thanks for sharing :D
