Zero Water Cooler System

Zero Water introduces water filtering system that removes almost anything from the water, lead, perchlorates, antibiotics, hormones and other contaminants.

From the outside Zero Water looks like any other water filtration system such as Pur, Brita etc., but on the inside it offers a far more advanced filtration technology.

The filtering of water is a five-stage process:

STAGE 1 A 20 to 50 micron filter designed to remove suspended solids such as dust and rust that make your water appear cloudy.

STAGE 2 Activated carbon that is Class I rated for chlorine.

STAGE 3 A water distributor screen that also removes suspended solids.

STAGE 4 Specialty resins that reduce levels of metals such as lead, mercury, and chromium in your water.

STAGE 5 A 1 micron filter designed to removed suspended solids.

Zero Water is certified to meet the highest standards as required by the Federal government. Besides the removal of basic impurities, it also removes pharmaceuticals such as antibiotics, hormones and perchlorate. The presence of pharmaceuticals in water is a major concern. Though there are no standards for the pharmaceuticals in water, Zero Water seems to perform well according to Tree Hugger.

Zero Water sells different water filtration units. The main pitcher system sells for $39.00 and the water cooler system sells for $99.00, which is useful for businesses.

The water takes a long time to be filtered in Zero Water, so you have to plan ahead to get purified water.

Another unique advantage for Zero Water system, is that the filters can be recycled free of cost. Customers send the used filters back to Zero Water and get a shipping discount for their next purchase.

So, you won't need to boil your water before putting them here? ;)

Trsmd, it comes in both versions, you can use either at home or businesses. It also comes in a pitcher form. I wish the refrigerators will have inbuilt water filter like this.

BeatsMe, great question, in normal Brita and Pur water filtration system we never boiled water. I think it is better to boil first, let it cool and then use the filtration system as a precaution.
