Zune Drivers

The Zune is a great mp3 player. I personally own one of the older ones and I absolutely love it! There are just so many things that you can do with them. By far the neatest, though, is the capability to send music from one Zune to another. Although you will not be able to keep the music sent to you forever it is a really cool concept! You can also watch movies and listen to the radio. The whole design of the Zune is really simple so you are not confused by it and left wondering how you listen to your music. The only thing that I have had a problem with are not linked to the Zune directly. This is a problem with my drivers. You see I had not been keeping my drivers updated or properly installed so when I plugged in my Zune, it was not recognized by my computer. This made me so angry! There seem to many people out there who, just like me, have found themselves in the same situation. That is why I decided to write this up. I will explain to you a couple of different ways in which you can go about fixing your driver problems.

The Fix I Used

Just because I used it does not mean that I recommend it! This has to be one of the most frustrating things I have ever done to my computer. What I did was look up "Zune Drivers" on Google. I was then given an obnoxious amount of search results that I then had to search through. It took up so much of my time, and it didn't help that I had dial up. But I went through most of those sites and picked a pile of them that I thought could help me. But I was very skeptical about the whole thing. I am, in my opinion, well educated in the types of things that can happen on the computer and what dangers can be faced. So when I was looking for driver help, the though of allowing someone I didn't know offer me help didn't sit well with me. But I knew that it was the only way that I would be able to use my new $250 purchase. So I searched around a lot and finally decided on one that I felt OK with. By then end of this I had spent hours upon hours looking for a fix and most of what I found was garbage. I hated the thought of other people having to go through that, especially people who have less time to spend on it than I did. So I continued my search. Then the next solution was recommended to me by my cousin.

The Fix I Wish I Had

Driver Detective is the program I wish I had. You can find it at the link below and I highly recommend you give a try. What this program does is an internal scan of your computer and then notifies you of what drivers need to be either installed or updated. Then it will even do the fixing for you! You won't need to spend endless hours looking for a fix that may not come and you won't have to worry about your computer being harmed by an unreliable person! It really is a wonderful program! But the most beneficial thing about it that not only will it help you with the driver problems you face now, it will prevent then from happening in the future. It does this by doing the routine updates on your drivers so that they won't become outdated. I highly recommend it. I really wish I knew about it when I was having my problem! I hope that you will be able to be jamin' with your Zune soon!
