Just a side note before you begin reading this. I put a * where I actually begin talking and going into detail about Zygor's guide - I figured I'd put some background information about me and World of Warcraft before I began talking and discussion on the actual leveling guide. So if you're just here to read about Zygor's guide, just scroll down until you find the * at the start of the paragraph!

I just picked up Zygor's Leveling guide and it's proven to be a revolutionary new way to level in World of Warcraft for me.

If many of you are like me, you absolutely HATE leveling in World of Warcraft. After just recently trying out WarHammer Online and not really developing a liking to it, I decided to return to World of Warcraft. I had leveled a Warlock to 70 during the time of the Burning Crusade Expansion and it was a daunting task. I was using some crappy free leveling guides I had found online and I was also heavily relying on ThottBot for additional quest help. My total /played time at 70? Roughly 15 days or so. Ouch. Leveling my Warlock was my first World of Warcraft experience, I mainly play games for the PvP (Player vrs. Player) aspects and leveling to me is exactly the opposite of what I'd rather be doing in an MMORPG. On a positive note, I finished Seasons 2, 3 and 4 with a Rival title or better, which was semi worth it!

Anyway - upon my return to World of Warcraft I had decided a few things. 1. I didn't want to play alliance again 2. I didn't want to play my Warlock again, especially with the new changes to the class in Wrath of the Lich King and 3. I wanted to play a healing class because I had a terrible problem of NEVER being able to find a good healer on my server. Ever. I had it relatively easy leveling my Warlock despite the overall /played it took me. Warlocks level fast, perhaps faster then any other class in the game hands down; I knew my problem wasn't in my class, it was just the lack of a good leveling resource to help me out. I knew I had wanted a Priest, but this depressed me because they're perhaps one of the slowest classes to level in World of Warcraft. This put me in a huge dilema. I had considered a bunch of options such as account trading, buying powerleveling etc but I knew that wasn't an option. Why? Let me tell you! First off, Blizzard keeps an extensive record of all individuals whom they know to be involved with power leveling or gold trading. That means the second you trade with these types of people, commonly just refered to as "gold farmers" or "gold sellers", a red flag goes up against your account and you can expect a swift ban or suspension to follow. I almost let the better of my judgement get me, I was so discouraged from leveling that I seriously considered taking the risk. Afterall, the SECOND you interact with these people, such as in gold trading, Blizzard knows. What do you think would happen if you gave these people your information to have them powerlevel you? Their IP on your account sets of multiple red flags, firstly because they know the primary IP address of the account belongs to you, and secondly once they see a registered "red flag" IP they know is involved in previous powerleveling scandals on your account - you're done, no questions asked. I went to Google, checked up on all the different account trading and powerleveling websites and I actually learned a lot after doing more extensive research and taking the time to read through forums filled with other people's experiences with all the various companies offering gold and powerleveling services. Most of the cheaper and low end powerleveling deals you find are all bogus. These gold farmers usually operate out of Asian countries from local Cyber Cafes and Blizzard has all of these IP addresses under lock down. You really have to know what you're getting into here. These companies set their prices low on purpose to entice you and to look for a middle ground. They know it'll take about 12 - 24 hours to get banned, so they just continue to play your account and level as far as they can get before the ban hits (often times using illegal bots in the first place), and once they do, they just assure you it wont happen again so they can continue. They do this to try and flush out as much money from you as possible and what you often see them say is "Well we leveled your character to level 30, you owe us the price of that character" or some just refusing to refund out right. Remember, the amount of money they just received for that level 30 character in a 3rd world Asian country is a small fortune to them, so they're happy either way; all of this comes at your expensive because in their eyes they still managed to come out of the deal with some good money, and what did you get? A suspension if you're lucky, or an account ban if you've run out of luck - hardly worth the risk. You really need to access the risk involved and options you would have at this point.

  • Do I through caution to the wind and spend $250 on a flimsy powerleveling service and gamble my account, risking a permanent ban and losing all of my hard work?
  • Do I spend upwards of $500 minimum and give even the most respected powerlevelers a chance to level a character for me?
  • Or do I spend $50 and level my own toon as quickly as humanly possible knowing I am 100% safe?      Sounds like a no-brainer to me!

Zygor's Guide, Sneak Peak Part 1!

* (Zygor's Guide Description begins here!)

Finally, on to the good part! ZYGOR'S GUIDE! I had done a lot of research into leveling guides and Zygor's guide was simply the best. I had compared all the availible guides and determined Zygor's was the best within a few hours of comparative research, searching YouTube and reading reviews from other World of Warcraft players. Going from using simple free online text based guides that were organized terribly and were missing lots of information and locations compared to Zygor's guide, which features an in-game step-by-step quest monitoring system with completed detailed instructions and locations along with - get this - a fully functional GPS component to literally point you in the correct direction you need to be going in that also tells you exactly when you've reached the location you need to be in. WOW, it blew me away.

The example I like to use to compare this experience for me is: would you rather drive some place far away using directions from Mapquest or would you rather have a GPS in your car? Unless your a free spirit who just likes to get lost, you want that GPS. Why? Because if you screw up, have any questions or just become confused, the GPS is there to instantly correct you. It readjusts itself and tailors its instructions based on your own actions and mistakes. If you screwed up, ran the wrong way or did anything outside of what you should have, Zygor's guide along with the GPS component is there to correct you. It's a live action system that updates itself in realtime based on your performance. Can your printed instructions from Mapquest do that? No way, not in a million years.

Any guide besides Zygor's is just primitive. Do you wanna drive a car from the 80's or from 2009? That's right, same concept here. I just cannot stress enough how excellent this guide is, it takes all the guess work out of leveling. I wish I had this guide when I leveled my Warlock. You can know NOTHING about World of Warcraft and still get to level 80 in about 7 or 8 days /played - i'm currently at level 72 on my Priest as I write this guide and I have a /played of 6 days, 15 hours - again, that's amazing. You can come into World of Warcrafting know NOTHING, just having the ability to follow the GPS as it tells you exactly where you need to be, and being able to read the easy in-game detailed instructions for what to do at each quest location is all you need. What I personally love best is how I switched from Alliance to Horde and found this guide SUPER easy to use. I knew nothing about the Horde side, I just followed the instructions and leveled to 70 in 1/3rd the amount of time it took me originally with my Warlock and now I'm basically guarenteed to hit even level 80 on my Priest before the amount of time it took my Warlock to hit 70 originally. Can you argue with that? No way! If you're interested in picking up a copy of this guide for yourself, you can do so by going here:

Just as a brief overview and recap, I've assembled my own personal strongest preferences as to why I prefer Zygor's guide to the other previous guides I have used in the past.

1. With Zygor's Guide, you don't have to alt + tab out anymore to constantly read your other guides. I can't tell you how much play time this accumulated for me, especially when you need to check Thottbot, not to mention when you alt + tab back in half the time you've died to aggressive mobs in the process!

2. Your guide works as an AddOn now that's very easy to install. Your quest guide with detailed instructions appears as a window within the game with custom size options so it dosen't get in your way while leveling. Easy to read, understand and very detailed instructions never leave you second guessing on where you need to be or what you need to be doing.

3. You get a fully functional and custom GPS system built right into your game screen as another easy to setup AddOn. It takes the form of an arrow that will point you in the right direction, inform you of how many yards your target location is and will inform you of when you arrive in the exact area you need to be in. The GPS component is an Arrow that at first appears under your character that is able to be moved or resized to however best fits you and your style of game play.

4. Both the in-game guide and GPS system are FULLY customizable with tons of options and settings that allow you to change display, transparency and movement options as specific as you need them to be to allow a natural gaming experience.

5. No more constantly checking your map, with the built in GPS system you'll always know EXACTLY where you need to be!

6. Zygor's guide is custom tailored to your exact level, race and position within the World of Warcraft World. You don't need to start at level 1 to use this guide as the guide will automatically register your level, race and current town as it adjusts the guide and its steps automatically to best benefit your leveling.

7. All quest steps, locations and information is listed in the massive in-game database you'll have full access to while leveling. There is absolutely no guess work with this guide and you'll never feel lost or confused for a single instant during your leveling process.

8. The interesting conversations you'll have with your friends in /guild chat and over Ventrilo as they harp on you and interogate you as to how and why you're leveling so much faster then they are!

9. All quest givers, locations, items and tasks are built right into the database which you will gain access to free updates for life!

There's just no reason not to own this guide. It literally takes all of the guess work out of World of Warcraft and gets you to end game content as fast, quickly and most importantly SAFE as possible. World of Warcraft leveling can actually, quite surprisingly enough, be an enjoyable experience; something you will come to realize once you are no longer feeling frustrated, lost and confused as you level.

Remember, you'll have access to both the Alliance AND Horde leveling guides which are able to be used on any character regardless of their previous level before you got Zygor's guide which makes it perfect for working and developing twinks for Battlegrounds!

What do you enjoy most about World of Warcraft?

What do you mainly play World of Warcraft for?

  • End game PvE Content. Dungeons, raiding etc.
  • End game PvP. Arenas, Battlegrounds etc.
  • Both PvE and PvP.
  • I just play Battleground twinks.

Consider this

There's just no other way to express how much use any individual can derive from this guide. We all know how leveling is the biggest barrier and the most drudging task to over come in World of Warcraft. Whether you are like me and just want to level as quickly as possible to get into end game PvP content, or you are looking to get into end game PvE or twinking out characters for battlegrounds, it would be insanity to do so without a fully automated guide!

Ask yourself:

  1. Do I want to add unnecessary play time to my character?
  2. Do I want to make a bad investment of my time even for one second and lose out on achieving what really matters most to me?
  3. Do I want to waste another second even so much as thinking about what I need to do next while leveling?

So far if you've said no to any of those questions, there is no question that you need Zygor's guide! Zygor's guide let's you:

  1. Enjoy all the benefits that powerlevelers and players with years of leveling experience enjoy instantly.
  2. Never even so much as having to think what to do next while leveling.
  3. Quickly out level your friends.
  4. Allow you to finally make all of those alts and twinks you've always wanted but were too discouraged to make because leveling just took too much of your time.
  5. Get you to where you need to be in order for you to enjoy World of Warcraft for the reasons you play it in the first place.

Zygor's Guide, Sneak Peak Part 2!

Do you know what personally sold me to trying Zygor's guide?

I'm the type of player who truly has no motivation to level. I have the hardest time building momentum to push myself to PvE because I just cannot stand it. Even when I do get the motivation mustered up to drive me to level my characters even the slightest, or dumbest, set back such as dying or not being able to figure out a quest will instantly turn me off to World of Warcraft.  With Zygor's guide, I can honestly say I never experienced this once so far. Knowing what you should always be doing at every given point in your leveling process is like day and night compared to leveling without this guide. Knowing that I knew what I had to do really drove me to powerlevel myself. After my Priest hits level 80 I'm very anxious to try and level another toon just to see if I can beat my own /playtime on my Priest - and that's a lot for a PvP junkie like me to say!

Is Zygor's Guide Cheating or Hacking?

No way! Zygor's guide is not too good to be true! It is in no way cheating or hacking and it cannot under any circumstances get you banned.  Zygor's guide is easily installed as a World of Warcraft AddOn. You may already be using some of the more popular ones such as UI modifications or other PvE/PvP friendly ones that enhance your game play. Zygor's guide does not in any way, shape or form conflict with Blizzard's Terms of Service or End User Licence Agreement so relax and enjoy it!  If your not familar with how AddOns work there are easy to follow instructions included with the guide that will have you set up and ready to play in under five minutes. You can manage your AddOns in game and on the character selection screen.

More on World of Warcraft!

Zygor's Guide

Are you still burning on the inside to know exactly how the guide integrates the GPS component to the in-game quest guide menu?

OK, I'll break down exactly how this guide works, from initial setup to Zygor's mechanics and behavior in World of Warcraft. Firstly, like I said previously, Zygor's 1-80 leveling guide is what is called an "AddOn". Addons are perfectly legitimate so long as they adhere to Blizzard's Terms of Service and End User Licence Agreement, which it just so happens to do! The very first thing you can expect after downloading Zygor's guide is installing it. Since this is a digital download, you will be granted immediate access to the guide and have it available for installation. Not so familiar with Add Ons? Again, don't worry as the guide comes with instructions anybody can follow with success.

Before I get into how everything works I would like to take another minute to stress something unique and what I believe truly sets this guide apart from all the others. The fact is, this guide plays along with you in the sense that it is able to constantly adjust to your actions and input within the game. This is a far cry from guides of old where you were required to alt + tab more times then you'd ever like to remember. Whether you follow instructions exactly or have found yourself making an error such as running the wrong way the GPS component constantly works in conjunction with the step-by-step instructions presented in the Add On quest guide. That's right, the GPS will always be directly linked to which ever step you are on in the guide itself so there is absolutely no way any confusion could ever arise. It's important to understand that you do not have to manually keep track of the GPS and in-game quest guide; this is one of the most frequently asked questions I get. You don't ever have to worry about keeping track of anything yourself, Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde guide keeps perfect track of your progress as if you had your own personal assistant doing all the mundane and tedious work for you! All you have to worry about is completing the steps as quickly as possible. Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde guide updates itself to your movements and actions in real time which also means it simultaneously updates both the GPS and quest guide menu in perfect sync together!

This is where it gets interesting. Having GPS within World of Warcraft is nothing new, yet still many players will not be very familiar with it as it has a relatively limited use on its own and therefore was never made truly popular or very useful until now.      Upon logging in to your account, you will notice right away two very distinct changes on your screen: You now have a green arrow under your character and you have a a reasonably sized box right in front of you - you can see this and refer to any of the screenshots I have posted right here on this blog. The green arrow is the functional GPS component of the guide. It will always points you in the direction you need to be traveling in. Underneath the green arrow you will always notice three things (whose display you can toggle): a name, their distance in yards and the estimated traveling time from you to that name. When you are running in the right direction, the arrow will be green - as you begin to run in the wrong direction the arrow will turn brown to inform you that you're slightly off course, and finally it will turn red when you are completely going in the opposite direction. When you arrive at your target destination, the arrow will point down into the ground to indicate you have arrived where you need to be. The GPS will update itself to always lead you to the correct NPC or the precise area where you need to kill/interact/obtain an item for a quest.

As for the in-game quest guide, it will always update itself upon your completion of a step and automatically have the GPS show you exactly where you need to go next. The quest guide itself is a massive database and pool of information that communications with the GPS via waypoints. These way-points is how the GPS and in-game quest guide can work together in harmony. When you move to the next step in the guide, the way point is updated (telling the GPS where to send you) as well as the guide's detailed information about who you need to speak to, kill, gather an item from or whatever exactly is called for whichever particular step you happen to be on. Forget about alt + tabbing now, with Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde guide you wont even so much as need to look at your map any longer! The in-game quest guide menu features a wide array of fully functional, fully customizable display options such as transparency and size adjustments. The most important feature is the ability for you to toggle between a detailed map and a briefed version - you can see the difference in my screen shots i have posted here.

I'm still worried, how can I be sure this guide is for me?

Don't be worried! You didn't have to start this guide with a level 1 character to be able to use it. Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde Guide will pickup on your exact level, race and town location and set you precisely on track so you can begin leveling right away. If you wanted to go back and do quests or start the guide a few levels bellow your current level, you can choose to go back and access any part of the guide at will. You have a few friends or guild mates you want to help level? You can set the guide to their level and help them complete all the steps necessary and proper to their level as there is a feature to manually "fast forward" and "rewind" the guide while retaining the ability to reset the guide to exactly where you last left off!

Some more interesting points about Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde Leveling guide is that it takes into consideration the fact that you need flight paths and some areas of special interest and directs you to them for later use.

Zygor's Leveling guide is also unique because it communicates to you very detailed instructions concerning quests. For example, say you needed to kill "NPC X", your basic quest log would just tell you the general area he can be found in. With Zygor's guide, the GPS would take you to his exact area and in Zygor's in-game guide you would see a comment made such as, "NPC X is in the house on the left with three other aggressive mobs, so it is best to pull the mobs out surrounding NPC X one at a time first."

Zygor's guide provides you with an unparrelled approach to drastically cut the amount of time it takes you to get directly into end game content. After all, you don't play World of Warcraft to just level all day, do you? And even if you did, you'd be using a guide just like this unless you're just a sucker for punishment!

What about the competition? I've heard of Joana's Leveling Guide and Brian Kopp's Leveling Guide.

These are all valid concerns, after all, we always want to make sure we are investing our time and money into the right product for us both in terms of money, time and overall efficiency. I spent a good two weeks prior to my purchase of Zygor's 1 - 80 Alliance and Horde Leveling guide digging up reviews and feedback on Joana's and Brian's leveling guides and I've learned a lot.

Honestly, I was originally going to go with Brian Kopp's leveling guide. A friend of mine began playing and was refered to Brian Kopp's Alliance and Horde leveling guide by some of his non-Azerothian friends. I was really impressed hearing how the guide had a GPS - OK, I was flat out jealous. When I went home and researched it, I began hearing the cries that Brian Kopp's Alliance and Horde leveling guide wasn't automated like Zygor's guide was which prompted me to research Zygor's guide.

I wanted to be sure I was getting the best deal with Zygor's guide so I made sure to research and check up on the other big name leveling guides on there. Another friend of mine had told me he was particularly found of Joana's Leveling guide but after doing extensive research I was eventually turned off because I heard there was no GPS tool with Joana's guide; all you get is access to more YouTube videos showing you step by step instructions on how to do certain quests. But, hey, isn't the whole point of a leveling guide to minimize the amount of time you spend foddering around alt + tabbing, watching videos, searching quest forums, etc? Joana's Leveling Guide was a definite no for me.

So there you have, in the end I opted to go with Zygor's leveling guide and there is not an ounce of regret in me.

I hope all of my experiences will help many of you in the future.
