Hope you are very excited to plan your very own backyard wedding. It does not matter if you live in a state that is always sunny or live in a state that tends to rain often. Your reception can still be done at your home. You probably wondered how you can pull it off, well I have some solutions that I hope will help you while planning. Enclosed are two concepts, One is a beautiful tent idea and the other one is an elegant setting without a tent.

Let's discuss the tent concept. You can rent a tent and decorate it to be very beautiful. Just have to think creatively. You can set up tables and chairs of your own or also rent them. It might be cheaper to rent everything then have your reception at a fancy hall. If you do not have a concrete area then I would suggest to also look into adding a dance floor like how we have it in concept two. There are many party tent rental companies out there that you can research by using google search that will also have additional supplies like the flooring, chairs, and tables. Try to find out the best place that will fit your budget. Adding cute accents such as lanterns, candles, Christmas lights will sure make the event space look amazing. For food, you can have your family help you prepare food in advance or also have a catering company come in. It is up to you and your budget. You may decide you want to rent everything and also have a catering staff at your reception so to fit it in your budget you can cut back on other items. One of the best parts of having a backyard wedding, whether a tent or not having a tent, is allowing your loved ones that smoke to still be in your company as oppose to having them in front of a reception hall missing your party. They can simply stand on the side of the tent or you can choose to put smokers on one side of the yard and non-smokers on the other side as if your at a restaurant. Some tents can be closed on the sides and others can be opened. There are many pros to this idea. As far as attire is concerned, everyone can still be dressed up or you can choose to tell everyone to be casual. If you know your husband to be rather wear slacks and flip flops and you rather wear a simple wedding gown that is not to heavy as your girls wear comfortable maxi dresses then you can still do that! It is your event, you choose what you want and you do not always have to be traditional.

Hope the photos inspire you while planning and as always please be sure to drop in our favor shop.

Best Wishes!
