Have you been honored to be the Maid of Honor for a wedding and now stuck on what kind of Bridal shower you should do? You landed on an interesting hub then! Whether they are a young bride or older bride that already has everything, this Fashionista Themed Bridal Shower will sure fit for any bride and be a hit! I have come across Brides that already have everything they need for a home as sometimes the Bride and Groom are already living together. I am sure you wonder what can be done in those kind of situations. Well I am saying you should throw a Fashionista Bridal shower that can be combined for both Bride and Groom. You can choose to just have all ladies or bring in the fellas as well. Here are a few ideas to consider:

1. Ordering traditional Bridal shower invitations can still be used for this theme. The one displayed is from Wedding Paper Divas Wedding Invitations & Bridal Shower Invitations .

You can add a note that the theme is "Fashionista" and that you request all guests to bring a Fashionista gift for the Bride and Groom as a hint- Amy likes the BEBE store and ADAM likes the Best Buy store! P.S. if you like to go the easy route purchase a VISA gift card so they can shop to they drop at the mall! we won't tell.. PROMISE! kind of note. You have to be creative and nice about the invite and what you are looking for as gifts. This also helps if they do get gift cards it will help them with spending less of their own money. I know right now alot of people can use some extra cash but don't know how to go about it. I feel that might be a nice way to do so.

2. Don't have much money for a centerpiece? Well I have two creative solutions. 1st is to gather shoe boxes from your closet as well as the Bridesmaids closets and get the girls together to start covering them up with fashionista designs. For an example you can cover one shoe box up with black paper and write "BEBE" on the side in white. This is being creative. Choose which designers the Bride loves and then create a Bridal cake stack of the shoe boxes. Add ribbon around the boxes and you will be set! It stems away from spending money on flowers. 2nd option is to create or purchase colorful shopping bags and tissue paper from a dollar store. You can make designer name labels and add them to the bags to be displayed on the centerpieces. Check out the concept photo to see a image of this done.

3. Aside from centerpieces you can also include white balloons or the bridesmaids dress color. To tye the theme also together, I would suggest having a Fashionista novelty cake! They are so much fun and I know so many girls love them. I displayed two to get an idea of options you can do. One is having a shoe box with heels and the other is a designer bag with fun items the Bride loves!

4. What to do as a Fashionista Thank You Favor?! Leave that to us. Shop at http://bellamevents.theaspenshops.com/ for all your favor needs. We have many fashionable items you can choose from. Like shoe key chains to hand bag holders. My suggestion below is to purchase our "For You" favor purses that are only a few cents a piece. They will be a nice touch to have at each table setting. They are perfect for this theme. Some creative ideas to add inside the purse is lip balm which we also have on our site that can be personalized with the bride's name, bridal shower and date as that is a must have item in our purses. Also do we not have a bunch of appointment card reminders? well why not add one in the purses as well. It will be fun for kicks! You can design one using Microsoft. Just print them out and include it inside. Last item to add is filling the purses with a piece of candy. Anything like mints or gum will do! This is a very inexpensive thank you favor to do and I hope you think its a fabulous idea too.

5. Last but not least is how to entertain your guests when opening Fashionista gifts. My suggestion is creating "Boutique Bridal Bingo" cards! You can add fashion designs along the sides such as purses, shoes, lip stick, makeup, engagement rings and have a shopping cart design that has blank squares in the middle for your guests to fill in what the Bride may open! Now the fun part is your guests should write down the items they want in their shopping cart. When the Bride starts to open gifts one of the Bridesmaids can say "Okay, AMY's Boutique is OPEN let's see what new items she has!" The first few people to scream "CHECK OUT" wins a small prize. The winner items can be small fun gifts which I have included in my photos. They can also be found in our shop! Decide how many winners you would like or a price range you would like to spend.
