Boy do I love VINTAGE patterns! For me it is very classy and elegant when I see it in a room. Everyone has their own personal taste but I must admit from wall paper to decorative pillows with a nice touch of a princess chandelier is my favorite designer look. Are you thinking of doing a Vintage event? I say do it!

Let me first off say, Vintage is not always white and black design. Most Vintage photos appear to cater to the white and black. It is very romantic since it is simple however Victorian patterns can be made with any color you want. Vintage patterns are designs that have a attractive Victorian look. "Victorian" came from the 19Th century when Queen Victoria was founded. When people hear Vintage they automatically assume "old" but I am here to tell you the Victorian look even though old-fashioned is very much traditional and modern in today's world! It has become probably most popular now then back in the 19th century. I am one that also loves history and learning different cultures. If you do too then I would suggest to look up Queen Victoria and read her story. Pretty interesting to know where things came from!

You can decide to do the small details such as invitations, thank you favors, place setting cards and candle holders with vintage pattern and keep the bold colors the main attraction during the reception by using sold colored table linen's with unique flower centerpieces. Accents of tea-lights will make it one romantic and elegant night.

Just remember going simple is always more! Try drawing on a piece of paper what you would like your reception to look like. Set yourself a budget and then on your spare time start browsing flea markets and discount stores for vintage items. You might be able to find wonderful flower vases that can be used for the centerpieces at thrift shops. One of my favorite stores that I always find great items is Home Goods! They always have one of a kind pieces. You can find items such as vintage picture frames. You can display pictures of you and family members along with family members that might have passed away as an additional display in the room. You can find unique candle holders and candles as well there and have them also around the table with a few flower petals.
