Polder Cooking Thermo And Timer
65Some Say Yes; Some Say No
The Polder Cooking Thermo/Timer comes with a pre-settable alarm temperature range up to 392 F. The timer works automatically with the thermometer, which boils down to the fact that if one of them is off, you can forget about the other being accurate. The Polder Thermo/Timer has a memory for frequently used settings, which can prove to be a very convenient feature especially if everything cooks at the wrong temperature! (Your machine will remember, lest you forget!)
Batteries are included with the purchase of a Polder Cooking Thermo/Timer and if the probe needs replacing, it will set you back about twenty bucks. (You might get a better deal with other cables that are compatible with the Polder model.) The need for replacement can be avoided if you are aware that the probe cables are not completely waterproof and that they should be shielded at all times from ultra high temperatures, such as those found near cooking elements, flames or coals.
Some reviews have praised the Polder Cooking Thermo/Timer and claim that its only drawback is that it may take a little time to learn about all of the buttons.
So button, button, who has the button?
I don’t know, but the ball is certainly in your court. Buy or don’t buy a Polder Cooking Thermo/Timer today!
