You have already taken the first step on your path to success.
Just by enrolling in my short course you have done more than the
vast majority of people in network marketing.
Most people are sold a bill of goods and have the impression they
do not have to expend any effort to be successful. Most feel there
is a free lunch and they can get something for nothing. Is that
your feeling? I doubt it.
The 18 sessions I have available will give you everything you need for success. You will undoubtedly be inundated with offers of
courses ranging from $29.95 to $10,000.00 (no kidding) to teach you
everything you need to know. Some of these are actually quite good
and worthwhile but if you follow the 18 sessions there is no need for them. I will not send you an offer like those for I do not
have one to sell and I do not intend to write one.
HOMEWORK: Today think about what I have said. Besides if you
really want success. Decide if you are willing to put forth the
little effort I suggest. If you do then be sure to read each lesson.
You will soon know how easy it is to be successful. I guarantee it is much easier to be successful then to be a failure. It is also a lot cheaper.
Most people getting into network marketing think they are
entrepreneurs. Usually that is not the case for they maintain
their nine to five attitudes. They want a rigid schedule, and head
padding and a secure salary. They do not understand that there is
no such thing as a secure salary. The only security is the ability
to produce. You will learn how to do that in the upcoming sessions.
You will think, "Bob is out of his mind. It can not be this simple
to learn and to do." I may be out of my mind but the fact is that
it is simple.
Everything is important in this course but the most important thing
is the 1, 2, 3, step by step plan given to you by your company or
your Mentor.
This may be called something else. Whatever it is, it must be duplicatable by everyone.
If there is not a reasonable plan available run for the hills for
you are with the wrong company.
RETENTION:
*it is far easier, more productive and profitable to retain your customers and your downline then it is to get new ones. To do this you must develop a personal relationship. It only takes a little time, thought and effort.
*always think and direct your comments to helping your people achieve what they want.
*think only about benefits to your people and not about the benefit to yourself.
*always try to give more then you promise.
*Conversely, absolutely never give less than you promise.
*ask your prospects what their dreams are. Tell them how your offer will help them achieve those dreams.
*I mention SKYPES in the session on, "tips". Show them how this or a similar offer will save them a great deal of money with no benefit to yourself.
*let your prospects no you will help them with any aspect of their business they need help with.
*let them know they should talk over any business problem with you. Tell them that between the two of you a solution will likely occur.
*E-mail or, preferably, telephone your top people regularly to let them know they are not alone and that someone cares.
*make 3 x 5 cards for your team leaders and your productive people that you will keep in contact with. Have the following items on the car:
Name, phone number, dream, E-mail address, street address, spouse's name, kids name, birthday, anniversary date, hobbies etc... You won't have all of these things for everyone but in conversation many of them will come up. Note them on the card when you hear them. Before you call them look at the card. It will suggest things for you to talk about.
This is the type of thing that builds relationships. If you want your business to grow this is one of the best and easiest ways to do it. You will he astonished as to how you make friends around the world. It will often go well beyond business. That is why it is called relationships.
Never say you are their, "upline". You are their, "Business partner".
LEADS:
A future session gives you a list of 200 people you know and can use as leads. Many do not like to do this so they buy leads. Instead of doing that go downtown and pass out your money to strangers. It is likely the results will be the same.
Most leads are a colossal waste of time, effort and money. If you want details as to why this is true give me a telephone call.
A friend purchase lead packages from two different companies. One was a large list of leads for just a few cents each. The other was a list of very expensive double opt in and telephone verified 150 leads with a bonus of 30 more if he bought immediately. All 180 leads in this expensive package were also in the cheap package. Many friends have had this same type of experience in various forms.
Does this mean there are no honest lead companies? Of course not. Probably most of them are honest. Even so the vast majority of leads of any type are useless.
30% of purchased leads can never be contacted.
30% you can and should disqualify in from 10 seconds to two minutes.
15% will say they never opted in for anything and don't call them again.
10% are tire kickers, lookers and information collectors. You will go broke if you send them anything.
5% are sad lonely people that just want someone to talk to.
10% are possibilities.
That means your actual cost per good lead is ten times what you paid for each lead.
Everyone, including the most professional network marketer faces those odds. the average person, facing those odds, is overwhelmed and will not continue to work leads. They can not face what they perceive as personal rejection. Their self image is not sufficient to handle the problem so they quit. If you feel this is a problem then build your business one on one and, additionally, use automated systems. You can still be a winner.
The fact is that these things are just another business problem. If you are mentally tough enough then you can be very successful in working leads. Your primary objective in working leads is to build up a personal relationship with those that are good potential candidates for your business.
In section 18 I offer you a free way to utilize leads which is very effective.
Here is an important hint. Most lead packages are sold to more than one person and they are often sold to several people. Most people start at the top of the list and work their way down. A very high percentage quit long before they get anywhere near the bottom of the list. That means the people at the top of the list have already received several calls. They do not want another one. The solution is easy. Start at the bottom of the list and work your way up.
