The dream of any hot bachelor today, is to have a bedroom that virtually entraps a woman with a statement of pure untainted masculinity. A bachelors design for his bedroom is mostly centred around this thought.

A man needs to be comfortable with his bedroom, and at the same time make it inviting enough to any lady friends he meets along the way?

To make a bold statement, a major consideration for the bachelor would be the headboard design. He should start by picking out the perfect design among the many headboards on the market.

Many men love, almost absolutely, leather and we know that leather has a very elegant but masculine appeal to it. It is strong, appealing and most importantly, it is 'macho'.

The headboard can be the starting point to create a theme, and the decoration of the rest of the bedroom can be woven around it.

A bachelors design for the bedroom is usually straightforward since they have more basic style needs and preferences than women. They have a good idea of what they like. Some love contemporary style because they can identify the simplicity of a modern taste. Others like intricate and imposing decor, and will go for classical themes.

And many others often  like the rustic décor, and a wrought iron headboard and wood bed may be a great addition to the bedroom to bring out such a style.

How about the western feel of a carved pattern to make it appear western in style, reminding us of the wild wild western days.

The bedroom and headboard may be the largest furniture item in the bachelors room, but is by far not the most important in creating an enticing bedroom.

Often, it's the small things that really make it appealing. Adding a special touch, by incorporating artworks, photos and frames or little personal knick knacks here and there, a trophy stand, a football jersey top, hung on the wall with attitude, a few throw pillows or an area rug, will make it feel lived in and comfortable. And of course this will make his bedroom feel more inviting for both him and his lady guest.

Without these little personal touches, a mans bedroom can look stark, cold and impersonal like a hotel or motel room.

Size of the bed is paramount. Though the size of the bedroom will determine the size chosen for your bed. However, you wouldn’t want your guest falling off the edge during snooze time!  

If today's bachelor wants to impress with his  bedroom design, or, intends to invite a lady up for a nightcap and perhaps a little something on the side, a unique design of a king-sized bed may be more appropriate.

Whatever the case may be, always enjoy your bachelorhood for now, as you are able to design your own space without the requirements of a wife or girlfriend being taken into account.

As soon as that knot is tied, you may not (most likely will not) have a complete freedom of décor choice.
