Ever wanna climb into a giant ball and roll downhill?

Now you can because the newest sensation from New Zealand, the Zorb has made it stateside.

The Zorb is a supersized beach ball that absorbs impact, increases bounce, and provides the sphere rider with a good idea of what it would be like to be a sock in a wash/spin cycle.

People emerging from the Zube bobble and dip, but I haven't seen anyone lose their lunch after the flounder...however; I would watch what my companion ate before we took a plunge together.

Zorbing, preferably called, sphering is best done on manicured landscapes free of debris, and pedestrians but...

The fun doesn't have to end on dry land.

Spheres can be rolled freestyle on water or... you can toss a bucket of water into the Zorb, aka Hydrozorbing for a cool slippery splash on a hot day.

In winter, keep on the lookout for ways you can head for the hills of your local ski resorts. Some slopes are considering purchasing Zorbs for a different kind of down hill thrill.

But... is sphereing really safe for scaredy cats?

The Zorb minimizes bone breakage with modifications for human safety, like harnesses. Unless the ball breaks it's, considered safe for occupation.

Yet, you might want to consider telling the Zorb crew

  • You're Pregnant

  • Have A Heart Condition

  • Have Epilepsy

  • Have A Heath Condition That Tossing Might Inflame

  • Have An Uncontrollable Urge To Unclip The Harness (this would be a very bad idea in a dry Zorb)

Where's Your Head At? GETTING WET AND WILD

Zorb’s Future In US?

Zorb gets a lot of use around the world, but in the wrong hands Zorbs can for obvious reasons...get out of control.

It's best to Zorb where there is supervision, trained assistants, and the ride is conducted in an area where it's deemed safe.

If we play nicely and don't run out to recklessly purchase a Zorb to say... roll over Niagara Falls they might just become a fun new toy for those who can afford the $3000.00 price tag.

The sphere is double chambered and has a hole where riders climb in and out. The video shows the wobbly riders exiting the sphere.

Anything is possable livelonger, say the sphere collaspes and you're stuck inside.

Hopefully, your ride will be supervised by someone with a good hunting knife to break you out.

Kenny, for serious fun, the hydrozorbing is the way to go. You're loose in the chamber so it's like a never ending slide. At least until you've hit bottom.

Hit bottom? Is that a pun at my poor behind's expanse, oops, expense?

LOL...If your behind is expansive... you needn't worry about the expense of a broken tail bone.
