In boxing, there are two regulations:

28 days of mandatory rest after a knockout. For the second consecutive knockout, 3 months of removal. if a third knockout, a year of interruption. After the knockout, the doctor on this side of the ring should immediately examine the boxer. If you feel that the knockout was severe, it may require a rest period exceeding 28 days. The fighter must be confined to a rest brain, which is, failing to receive blows for 1 month to 1 month and a half, not only after a knockout, but after a hard fight. There is no medicine: only the rest brain allows the brain to recover after a knockout. The boxer can make footing, bag, rope ... but do not receive blows. If the doctor deems necessary, may request additional tests.

  1. A clinical examination by a neurologist
  2. A scanner or a I.R.M. (Magnetic resonance)
  3. An electro-encephalogram
