Attention Dog Walkers!
43Attention Dog Walkers!
Walking my dog is truly an arduous task. My mother-in-law taught her that dogs
walk humans when she was a puppy. I hate to admit that I don't have time to go
through training her how to walk on a leash, so I don't "walk" her very often.
Luckily for her, has a back yard that she uses as her own race track.
When I do walk my dog, she barks at every human being she sees, and she's
deathly afraid of other dogs. She acts like if she thinks that they're aliens of
some sort. For those of you that do walk your dog without any problems, your dog
is the last thing you should have to be concerned about.
A man in Tampa was walking his puppy about 8 p.m., and 6 guys came up to
him demanding his puppy! The man refused, so they started beating him with some
sticks! The police ended up catching two of the men. An 18 and a 19 year old.
They're in jail for robbery with a deadly weapon. Now, can you imagine walking
your dog and someone attacking you to rob you, or trying to take your beloved
doggie from you? You can't even trust the mere task of walking your dog
nowadays. If you don't have some sort of protection on you, you're just asking
for trouble.
In the situation I just described with six men,
pepper
spray is absolutely the best thing to have on you when there's more than
one person as there are several bursts within the pepper spray unit, so you can
keep pressing it to spray towards all of them allowing you time to get away! A
1/2 ounce pepper spray with the leatherette holster has a locking actuator and
quick key release key chain. It is effective up to eight ft., and it has five
one second bursts. This is something you should have with you at all times no
matter what. If it's other dogs you might be worried about, you might also want
to have either a Super Dog Chaser, Mace Pepper Spray Dog Repeller, or an
80,000 Volt Alarm Stun Baton Flashlight are all great choices.
Make sure you are armed, do not depend on your furry friend to save you.
He would expect you to save him in return!
Yours In safety,
Regina Jacques
