As soon as I found this request I immediately remember all those stickers I have collected and how I used to enjoy decorating my bicycles with them. Most of bicycle stickers are commercial or have been created with some kind of commercial purpose but there are also lots of humorous stickers to use on your bike or even on your car bumper.

It is frequent to see bicycles full of stickers and kids who want to have all the different stickers they can get their hands on. I have done that for ages even though I have not stuck most of them anywhere and if you ask me I still do not understand why I love to collect them. Every time I found a new one I always think how nice it would be stuck somewhere but then I almost never stick them and they stay idle for years inside some bicycle magazine or book.

I guess my problem is I do not want to "spoil" the back of my lovely car with a bunch of stickers. Now that I think about it I also do not put stickers on my bicycles anymore, I guess I want to keep them as light as possible LOL.

The first bike stickers that come to my mind are those which bicycle manufacturers use to decorate their bikes usually with the brand name and the model of the bicycle. Nowadays it is also usual to see more complex decorative stickers to make the bikes more appellative for the younger ones.

Then there are those stickers from different bicycle component or bicycle wear brands which are mostly used by professional riders to publicize their sponsors. Of course that people who do not race also want to have their bikes looking like the ones from the pros and it is common to see low cost bikes full of stickers from expensive bicycle material brands.

Then there are those stickers I really do not like to see on a bicycle - the safety warnings stickers. You may say they are very important and all but I will never leave one of those on one of my bikes at least after I have read them. It is probably my "weight weenie" side speaking but I believe those stickers are nothing more than dead weight on my bicycles LOL.

I almost forgot those reflective stickers which help other drivers to see you and your bike. These stickers are often used on the bicycle helmets or on the bike and they reflect the lights from other vehicles and make your ride safer.
