Aloe vera gel is very useful in the treatment of burns. Aloe is soothing and causes a protective coat to form over the area of the burn where it is applied. I am going to walk you through step by step how to apply aloe to a burn.

Step 1:  Find an aloe plant and a pair of scissors.

Step 2: Cut near the base of a healthy green leaf.

Step 3: Insert one arm of the scissors into the base of the aloe leaf and slowly divide the plant.

Step 4: Once divided, you will notice the slimey gel in the leaf. This is the part that you want to put on the burn.

Step 5: Apply the leaf directly to the burn and carefully spread the gel onto the burn.
