Jolie is a patron of the Harnas Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to more than 400 animals. The actor filmed part of Beyond Borders there and during the filing developed a strong affinity for the big cats. It is reported that she made a £200,000 donation for the sanctuary's wild animal release project. The facility is largely dependent on "eco-tourists" that come to give their time to work with the wild animals. It is an unexpected oasis in a scorched world that seems barren and unfriendly.

6. "Billy Bob" tattoo, the name of her former husband Billy Bob Thornton, on her left arm, which she attended several laser sessions to get it removed. However you can still faintly see it.

7. A dragon on her left arm (She has been lasering it for some months now but it can still be faintly seen).
