Sweety Shetty, better known as Anushka Shetty, is an actress in the Kollywood and Tollywood industries. In Telugu she debuted in Nagarjuna's Super, and she made her debut film with R. Madhavan in the Tamil hit Rendu. Anushka did her schooling and college in Bangalore. she studied Computer Application degree from Mount Carmel College. After completing graduation in Computer Applications, she learned yoga from famous Yoga Guru Bharat Thakur. Then she became a yoga instructor.

She is a pure vegetarian. Puri Jagannadh happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for Super. Her acting in Vikramarkudu got the appreciation of youngsters. She has also rendered playback singing in several films.

In STALIN (Telugu) she did an item number and she was appreciated a lot for her sexy item song.  Though the movie did not do well at the box office which out and out Chiranjeevi movie also in the movie is Trisha Krishnan.  Directed by A. R. Murugadoss who made such intense movies like Ghajani (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with Aamir Khan).

She also did a movie with Ravi Teja in VIKRAMARKUDU directed by Rajamouli.
