A fear of a particular event or situation can result in a phobia. Fear can be so intense that one suffers anxiety because of it. Anxiety is that feeling of dread and/or panic that is felt that causes them to suffer from different physical discomforts including nausea, difficulty breathing, tremblling and a variety of other sensations. People suffering from any kind of anxiety phobia disorders tend to feel an strong feeling of doom that prevents them from further facing their fear.

Fear is not that uncommon. Your body triggers a response by creating hormones, this will result in raised heart and blood pressure. Respirations increase and senses are heightened and your blood will be rerouted from the stomach and organs to the limbs.

There are several online programs for anxiety treatment. Jon Mercer offer his first video lesson for Free.

Constant fear will prevent a person of doing particular things and it will become a phobia. 2 types of anxiety phobia disorders are social phobias and more specific phobias.

Life experience and other biological factors result in specific phobias. It is the fear of a particular activity or event. A person can have a phobia of bugs, flying, driving, heights or any other situation.

19 million people suffer from a specific phobias. This condition happens more to women then for men. Many of the phobias start in childhood and can be caused by a traumatic event.

Social phobias are another type of anxiety phobia disorder. Caused by certain situations that deal with social activities and performance. Also sometimes called a social anxiety disorder. more then 15 million people are affected by social phobias. Women and men are equally affected and it often start in childhood.

Persons with a social phobia are fearful of being judged by their social surroundings. Public speaking is a common fear that can cause the person with a social phobia to feel nauseated, tremors, rapid heartbeat and begin to sweat more. Some other common fears are eating in front of peoplem that they will choke in their food or cause any kind of embarrassment.

Those who suffer from both anxiety disorders, they will go to great extremes to avoid social situations that will cause anxiety. People with anxiety phobia order will also avoid seeking for help.
