To give your Art Deco room the correct ambiance and feel and finish is extremely important.Just filling a room with objects does not give the perfect finish. Many people surround themselves with objects but then the rest of the room lacks atmosphere and does not live up to its potential.

You need to further the mood with the correct fabrics, lighting, wallpaper, paint etc and the correct soft finishes to give that final Art Deco touch.

The interior design is also critical to create the correct effect.

This is why I decided as a designer to start up my own company Art Decor Designs to give the public a really luxurious and original collection of Art Deco style soft furnishings, because I know from years of experience looking for these types of products that very few exist or have stood the test of time.

Interestingly if you go to the Art Deco hotels on South Beach Miami many of the exteriors are beautifully executed, but when you take a peek inside many of the interiors its extremely disappointing in that many of them have gone for the boutique look, which is totally wrong in my opinion and jars with the interiors.
