This action could be in one of the following forms: deep breathing techniques, relaxation techniques that may include meditation or yoga or the old school technique of wearing a rubber band around your wrist and snapping it at the first sign of an anxiety attack. Everyone has different levels of stress as well as different "hot buttons" that cause anxious.

Simple Tips That May Help You Avoid Panic Attacks:

**RELAX

Take a break when you begin to feel stressed. You may want to start practicing deep breathing, stretching and relaxation exercises every day. It’s as simple as inhaling deeply through your nose, holding your breath while counting to somewhere between four and seven, then exhale through your mouth. (Do this for a few cycles.)

**EXERCISE

Have you heard the old saying? "A healthy body makes a healthy mind". Well, stress and anxiety go hand in hand and regular exercise is a fantastic way to lower stress. You should do what works best for you walking, running, aerobics or weight lifting etc. About 30 minutes a day can do wonders for anyone’s stress levels. It could make you feel happier, healthier and help you to avoid panic attacks.

**GET ENOUGH SLEEP

You may find it helpful in lessening panic attacks by getting plenty of sleep, at least seven to eight hours. A lack of sleep causes the body to function at less than 100%, which in return makes it easier for stress, anxiety and other factor to set in.

Just learn about and try to maintain a balanced diet. Because, maintaining healthy eating habits could be an important step when it comes to managing your panic attacks.
