Oh baby! If you've just had a baby or know someone who has, you'll probably find lots of uses for these free baby scrapbook papers and embellishment, not the least of which would be creating wonderful baby memory books you can treasure forever. These papers and embellishments come in traditional baby blue and pale pink but the designs also contain some more nontraditional colors -- such as red, orange and brown -- which make the papers and embellishments look au courant.

These free baby scrapbook papers and embellishments were designed in Picnik, the free graphics program anyone can use. The Picnik designers created the illustrations but I arranged them into the scrapbook paper and embellishment designs you see on this page. Please know that I'm aware these babies are not ethnically diverse. The illustrations come as-is in Picnik. I tried to adjust the skin tone to create different versions but it didn't want to cooperate.

I've also created baby clipart that matches, so you might want to visit that page as well. If you'd like to learn how to make your own free clip art, please see the Picnik tutorial on my WordPlay blog.

Instructions for Downloading the Baby Scrapbook Papers and Embellishments

Choose a thumbnail version of any of the baby scrapbook papers and embellishments in the right column. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen a scrapbook paper and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive. If you're a Mac user, control-click the image until you get a pop-up menu that will give you an option to save the file on your hard drive.

Note: You may have to click one more time after following the instructions above. In other words, click on the image that comes up after clicking on the large image.

Once the images are on your computer hard drive, you can do any of these:

  • Paste images into a word processing document, size it and print it.
  • Create your own digital scrapbook pages in a graphics program, such as Photoshop or Picnik.
  • Create your own layouts in a word processing document.

Terms of Use

You are free to use these baby scrapbook papers and embellishments all you want for your own scrapbook or to make scrapbooks for others. But you may not sell these scrapbook images, give them away as a collection or incorporate them into any other products without permission.

Above all, I hope you make beautiful things with these baby scrapbook layouts and embellishments! If you do, please come back and leave a comment telling me what you made. I love to see what people do with my images.

Hi, Beba. It will probably be a bit of a project organizing everything for the scrapbook but I'm sure you'll be glad you took the time once it's done! Have fun with it. :-)
