'Backgrounds' is a fantastic app that allows you to browse and save images of iPhone/iPod Touch backgrounds, you can choose from over 30 categories including space, cars, movies, buildings, swirls, sunsets water and lots more.

You can choose to browse through recent and popular backgrounds or you can select a category filter that suits your interests. Another feature I like about this app is that it allows you to make a search for any background you like, for example transformers.

This app has over 7, 500 backgrounds so you are sure to find one you like. New backgrounds are added daily as well so you should check back daily to look for new ones.
One certain thing I don't like about this app is the ads that are at the bottom, they get in the way but you can always preview the backgrounds without the ads right in your face so that's good.

For free this app is a fantastic download and really adds a nice look to your iPod Touch and iPhone.
