To play the banana game the 144 letter tiles are placed face down in the middle of the game spot and players choose their tiles. Each player then turns over their tiles and begins to make words either horizontally or vertically.

The words can be changed or rearranged as often as needed. Once a player uses up all his or her tiles in words, or can’t make a word, then that player yells “peel”, and all players then need to take one more tile. This continues until no tiles remain. The first player to finish arranging all of their tiles yells “BANANAS” and wins the Bananagrams Game!
