Whether your planning a wedding for 5, 50 or 500 its easy to miss the smallest of details and for budgets to get out of control. The secret lies in careful planning.
By assigning yourself a budget and accounting for everything in advance you can make well informed choices with a clear overall picture of how your beach wedding day will affect your bank balance.
Make sure to shop around in our vendor directory and to keep a track of your options so that you can make informed choices according to our budget.
In selecting vendors for various services don't be afraid to ask for a discount... you never know, you just might get one.You will never know unless you ask!
Remember Hired Help is better than no help
No need to panic, no need to declare yourself a charity case, just yet but there's really no harm in saving a few dollars if you can get a discount. This is also a great way to get family and freinds more involved in planning your budget beach wedding.
Dont think that a wedding planner is a totally unecessary expense. It could help save you a few extra dollars in the end
A Little can go a Long way
1. Be sure to send out invitations early, even as early as 6 months to give all guests suffiecient time to plan and budget for clothes and travelling costs.
2. Why not write your own personalised invitation on stationary paper, add a special poem or scripture for a personalised touch.
3. Opt for a hotel reception instead, since you could save on teh need to hire tables, chairs, caters etc. Most hotels usual have good deals on lunch or dinner buffets.
4.If you do have your own beach reception the go for simple deoration. eg a wide or monochorm coloured table cloth.U can fill up jars with seasand to serve as tealight candle holders. You could also use seas shells and pebble stones.
5. To make sure that your special day is captured in pictures make sure you mention to guest to bring digital cameras. Make sure all your friends bring their digital cameras. They can take pictures of the wedding and at the receptions. This is a very inexpensive way to get memorable pictures of your special event. Ones that the hired photographer may forget or may charge too much for.
6. Beach beddings are much more casual than traditional indoor ones so you can get away with a casual wedding dress too! so no need to waste a fortune on a 10ft trein.
7. Why not write your own personalised thank you letter for your guests instead of giving them hula girl favors.
