belly button, piercied
62
I've had my belly button pierced for about 11 months now. Got it done June 3rd as a late birthday present from my mom. I remember walking into Dr. Jack's Tattoo, filling out my info, and then waiting. The piercer called me in, i walked in, his name was Mike. Mike told me to have a seat as he got prepared. I sat, staring at my mom with nervous anticipation. She looked at me as if i was crazy for being scared of something like this....since she does boast ten tattoos, and has had her belly button, tongue, and eyebrow pierced. Mike draws the dots where he would be piercing. He takes a second look and decides there not centered. He takes a tooth pick and scrapes the ink off, that I would have to say was pretty painful but i knew the worse was to come. After a few more tries Mike finally gets it centered. I laid on the cold leather table. My mom watches sitting on the couch two feet away from me. I look over and tell her to hold my hand. Mike's ready now. His assistant watches my face, tells me take a deep breath, i do as i close my eyes. I open them a second later, nothings happened. Mike's assistant tells me to breathe out, so I don't pass out. So for the second time i take a deep breath and exhale, the needle goes through. The pain, sharp like a knife... well a needle, but was gone as quick as it had began. I lay there looking up at my mom laghing at me. Mike walks away for a second, saying not to move and he'll be right back. I'm laying there with the needle still in my belly button. Mike returns with the barbell, slips it into the hole of the needle, then pulls the needle out. I yelp from the slight pain, Mike assures me its only the jewelry transfer. I hop off the table and pay the $55. As I get in the car, my friend calls wanting me to stay the night. I accept because how often do you get to say, "I got my belly button pierced twenty minutes ago!"
