What's the best autoresponder?
83The Best Remote Auto Responder
Before we begin, let's clear up a couple things. There are a few different categories of autoresponders. You have free autoresponders that we won't even consider in this discussion because they have terrible deliverability and are usually full of advertisements.
You have autoresponders scripts that you host on your server, the best of which is "AutoResponse Plus". This kind of autoresponder gives you total control but also can give you a nightmare of a headache. You have to play administrator and deal with bounces, spam complaints, etc...If your not careful you can get banned by your ISP. I don't recommend going this route.
The last category of autoresponder would be the remote type. Thsese are the ones that you are probably most familiar with. These are hosted remotely by the various owners and you pay a monthly fee to use them. These will be the type of autoresponders that we will discuss and that I recommend.
My Favorite Is Aweber
I will get right to the point and say that Aweber is my favorite auto responder. The truth is that there are several that are just as good and this is mostly a matter of opinion. I am a full time internet marketer and use autoresponders on a daily basis.
The most important issue for me is deliverability. When I first started out, I tried a few of the free autoresponders and that was the biggest problem I had. A lot of my emails weren't getting through or weren't getting sent. The paid option is definitely worth the $30 per month to make sure your emails get delivered.
I like Aweber because of personal preference. Things like user interface and tools that you can use to set up opt in forms. You can have a direct sign up form on your website. You can also have your sign up form in the shape of a fly in ad, a pop over ad, or a pop under. You can edit fonts and colors. You can use built in ad tracking in your sign up form and your messages. They offer responsive support as well.
To give the others a fair shake, I have friends that swear by Get Response and other that like Email Aces. If I had to rank these I would say that Get Response runs a close second and Email Aces third. All three have awesome deliverability. Email Aces doesn't offer the kind of tools to set up variations of your forms like Aweber and Get Response, but it will accept co-registration leads where the others won't.
This is why a lot of the big time internet marketers use Aweber/Get Response to handle the normal opt ins and Email Aces to handle their co-registration leads. Now when we talk about co-registration leads, we are talking about high volume. See the next section for the best high volume solution.
When considering your everyday auto responder, you want ot go with Aweber or Get Response. If you use co-registration, you want an Email Aces account. In my opinion you can just forget about the rest. An auto responder is one of the most important tools that you use in internet marketing. Make sure you are using one of the best.
Intellicontact Stands Above The Rest For High Volume Needs
Intellicontact is the service you need for high volume real time delivery. This is for industrial size campaigns. Co-registration is just about the only way to produce this kind of volume. The service is quite expensive compared to the others but it is worth it if your campaign relys on real time delivery for success.
You can try it out for free and then you pay based on how many subscribers you have. iContact has all the tools you need. Ad tracking, customized sign up forms, over 300 templates for your email messages, surveying features, image hosting, plus all kinds of tutorials.
Intellicontact is the premium, industrial strength, autoresponder solution if that is what you need. I use them for my co-reg campaigns and am quite pleased. They also have a very responsive support group. The few support requests I have made were answered in a few hours. Just remember that you don't need something like this unless you are expecting very high volume. It is a premium service, but it also comes at a premium price.

Very nice hub, I enjoyed the video :)
Great hub, am a hubber, but kind of new to the whole thing, wow, didn't know you can use it to such magnitude.
This is put together well. I am also a fan of Aweber. First autoresponder I've tried and liked it immediately.
