Tips to Make the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Every Time!
- Don't melt the butter. Melting will turn the dough darker, and it will burn easier.
- Use a clean, reflective cookie sheet so the heat will be distributed perfectly while cooking.
- Use high quality chocolate chips. Experiment to find what chips you like best, milk chocolate, semi sweet chocolate chips (the most popular), or dark chocolate.
- Keep an eye on the cookies while they're cooking. All ovens are different, so you may have to take them out early, or cook them an extra few minutes.
- Make cookies again! Every time you make them, they come out better each time. Practice makes perfect.

I didn't know that about melting the butter either! Thanks! The best way then would be to take it out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you want to use it, right?
Exactly! Or if you can find that magical amount of microwave time where you can just BARELY soften the butter, but not melt it at all. On my microwave, that would be literally 5 seconds.
thanks for this nice recipe
These look very nice and will be somthing I will ahve to try out when I get the chance.

I have been getting into the habit of buying a bag or two of chocolate chips when I go shopping, because it is so easy and cheap to make your own cookies.
I didn't know that about the butter though and it usually does end up melted when I make them. I will have to try it without melting all the way next time...
