First off my name is Scott, Im 27 years old and I am a tech geek. I love gadgets, all of them really. Recently I was searching for a new mp3 player and I thought, what would be the best mp3 player I could get. I know this mainly based on preference but I knew there had to be a best mp3 player for everyone. So I decided I was gonna start reviewing gadgets and see if my knowledge and the seer enjoyment I get out of technology, especially digital technology could help anyone. 

What kind of mp3 player are you gonna get? Well first off there are somethings you'll need to know in order to make a good decision.

Hard Drive Based Mp3 Player or Flash Based Mp3 Player

Hard Drive based Mp3 Players Basically these mp3 players have a built in hard drive to store your music on. More than likely they will hold more mp3's then you currently own. Especially if you have a higher end model like the 80 gig iPod Classic which will hold a ton of mp3's.

Pros • All your music on one device • More features  • Larger View screen

Cons They have a built in hard drive which causes them to be heavier and you also have the risk of the harddrive crashing. (very rare)

Flash Based Mp3 Players Are the original design of mp3 players, they have no moving parts and tend to offer an almost shock proof operation

Pros • Smaller • Batteries last longer  • No moving parts

Cons  • Hold no more than 32gb  • Slightly more difficult to use
