Do You Have a Fantastic Parenting Site You'd Like to Recommend...

If you have a site you would like to add to "The Best Parenting Websites" please post a comment with the web address below and I will review it.

Due to the fact that this site doesn't have alot of content, the sites that I listed are not hyperlinked. Which means you can't click on them directly to go to the site. You have to type them in your web browser manually. Sorry, a little extra work but well worth the effort.

Please take a look at my parenting website:

http://www.parentingscience.com

I'm a PhD in biological anthropology, a science writer, and a mom. I founded this website for parents who are interested in "evidence-based" parenting--parents who want to understand the science of child development and parenting. The site also appeals to people who are interested in attachment or natural parenting. I've got articles on breastfeeding, sleep problems, stress, social skills, and potty training. And there will be more to come in the next few months.

I've just started a parenting website to share my personal parenting experiences with others. I focus on issues faced by parents of toddlers as I, myself, have two active toddlers.

Parenting sites are plentiful on the web i must agree.

This site is focused on child development and parenting advice and tips (Q&A) as well as a facebook (social networking) function. If you own a parenting site, feel free put in your RSS feeds and showcase them to other parents too. Maybe start your own support group while you are there :) Feel free to have a browse.

Cheers

Our website is a parents guide to child safety created for and by parents. This guide is a compilation of first-hand experience, lessons learned, and information gathered while raising our own children to help answer those child safety questions all parents have.

For parents with children under 12, Glubble.com is a terrific choice where parents with children under 12 can create online “play spaces” for each child featuring Web sites, online games, coloring pages and educational exercises. There's a new release coming in September. I'm helping to spread the word about Glubble.

Content for parents by parents. You can find parenting advice, news, tips, and activities. The basics are a user can submit articles or start new discussions and then it is voted on by the community. As a posting gets more votes the more popular it gets it will move up to the front page to be shared with more people. Kind of like Digg.com for Parenting if you are familar with that site.

I heard about this site on a local TV station here in Phoenix, AZ. They interviewed the creator who is a Mom/Teacher and her parenting tips are great. Easy to make work in your own home and they are geared to teaching your kids responsibility. www.diddledots.com
