Staying healthy and fit has been and will always be everybody's concern not only with women's health but also that of men. To some staying fit spells costly health supplements plus high-end diet programs. But how would you really define you are healthy?

Healthy eating. Committing to eating healthy and nutritional foods gives your body the nutrition it needs for you to stay fit. Women's health sometimes suffer starving the body due to diet routines which should not be that way.

* De-stress when eating. Relax and feel the food you eat during meal. Chew the food properly and avoid activities like reading or watching TV. This will allow your body to use its energy in digesting the food you eat.

* Go, grow and glow. Make sure that these foods (carbohydrates, protein and fruits and vegetables) are in your meal traingle. Also you would be doing your body a great favor by minimum intake of 8 glasses of water during the day. No soda please!

* Eat on time and in moderation. Anything lacking or excessive is bad. Always eat in moderation.

Exercise. You don't have to go to the gym just to have your exercise. As simple as taking up the stairs instead of the elevator, or brisk walking in the morning will do good.

Sleep. Give your body the rest it deserves.Sleep early and wake up early. make sure you get 8 hours sleep daily.

There are many ways people have tried to define how healthy a body is. From measurement of the BMI, body frame etc but being healhy is simply defined as having the correct proportion of your height and weight for your age and having the energy needed for you to do your daily tasks.

Green leafy vegetables and lots of water... that's what I think are the most essential in anyone's diet. I am focused on food that can help me look younger! :D
