I am a first time hubber, and wanted to be able to better myself and hopefully help someone else along the way. I call this a better life ahead because that is something I believe most people want, a better life. For me a better life consists of being home with my boy, making money to take care of us, and having job satisfaction.

The most important thing to me is taking care of my children. They mean the world to me. I feel like being at home is a great assest to them. I didn't want to the single mom who didn't ever have time for her children because she was always working to take of them. So many single moms face that kind of situation, wanting to be with the children more but having to work to provide for them. Being the mom and dad is a hard job all by itself.

I was a preschool teacher until January 2008, and I had a preemie son. After he was released from the hospital I got back to searching for an at home job. Previously, I searched online for eight or more hours a day, and it finally paid off for me. I am new to my new job, but so far I am enjoying it. Just like outside jobs, this at home job requires actual work, but I can do it on my time. Truly setting my own hours is great, especially with a newborn and a 19 month old.

My advice to anyone seeking at home employment is to take the time and do the research because there are lots of scams. Look daily for a job the same number of hours you would work on a regular job. Just be cautious. I have links on this page of legit at home jobs I found during my search. I know they are legit because I know people who actually work for these companies. Networking is also a good way to find a legit home employment.

1. Decide WHY you want to work from home and/or start your own business because your reason WHY will be what drives you.
2. Get a Game Plan: How?, What?, Where?, Who? How can I accomplish my goal? What are my first steps going to be? Where do I need to go to get my business off the ground? Who can help me make my job or business better?
3. Be Persistent: Don't weary in well doing. Most lives don't change overnight, but with a little work and elbow grease things will look up. Continue to stay passionate about what you are doing.
4. Make that Money$$$$ : Making money can, without a doubt, help set you on the path to a better life and long with job satisfaction.
