Betty Crocker Complete Meals are a wonderful way to make a quick and satisfying meal when you're "too tired to cook" or just got home late. They are also a great way to stretch a food budget.

There are five delicious Betty Crocker Complete Meals to choose from - Chicken and Buttermilk Biscuits, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Stroganoff, Three Cheese Chicken, and Cheesy Beef Taco.

If you serve hearty appetites or want to stretch it a little further add some canned vegetables in while your mixing everything together. For example I like to add canned peas and carrots to the Chicken and Buttermilk Biscuits. It gives it a real chicken pot pie feel. I can add frozen broccoli or peas to the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. Add a can of black beans to the Cheesy Beef Taco and it becomes a lot heartier. Canned foods and vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh or frozen - alot of nutritionists have been on television saying they're a great way to add vegetables on a budget.

Betty Crocker Complete Meals, Chicken & Buttermilk Biscuits, 27-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3)

The Betty Crocker Complete Meals of Chicken and Buttermilk Biscuits includes chicken, pasta, Parmesan cheese, and creamy sauce. All you have to do is spend about 5 minutes to add water, mix and bake. What comes out of the oven is hot and bubbly and delicious. Check out the price, three meals with chicken for under about $14.00

If you want the Betty Crocker Complete Meals to go a little further add some cooked vegetables. Quite frankly I added drained canned peas and carrots and it tasted great. If you're family really likes biscuits, then I would get out the Bisquick and make a few extra.

When the bones of the meal only takes 5 minutes to prepare, you have the time for some Bisquick biscuits or biscuits from your favorite mix, maybe even from scratch!

I love adding frozen broccoli or canned peas and carrots. The Alfredo sauce makes everything taste so good. The extra vegetables are nutritious and fill up hungry appetites.

The Betty Crocker Complete Meals Stroganoff is contains high-quality premium beef, mushrooms, onions, ribbon-style pasta and a rich and creamy sauce. Again if you like larger servings add some of your own frozen or canned vegetables. I also get out the Bisquick and make some biscuits. It's great to dip them in the Stroganoff sauce.

Thanks for this info. I haven't tried these packaged meals, but have often wondered about them. I am all for convenience, but worried about the taste. I like your suggestions for improving them too. :-)

If you add lots of canned veggies, it does make them taste better and a bit healthier, without adding much cost. Thanks for stopping by!
