Pull in Strength During Hard Times - Bible Verses That Induce a Difference

Have you recently had a day where it looks like nada is going right? A day where problems come out of nowhere? Do some of the problems look like major setbacks? Do you feel like forfeiting on some of your goals?

If you responded yes to these questions, you may feel that there must be something to aid you through this hard time. And surely there vast things that can help: excellent friends, reading a book, an awesome workout, 'losing' yourself in hobby, and different things you do every time, things are not going the way you expect them.

But here's a proposition that may help even faster than any of the above-mentioned solutions: Listen to the word of the Lord for your strength and take a stance of power.

I discovered that when I do this, my whole mentality changes to that of a mighty warrior holding back for the Lord to offer me a new adventure. In some way He will be parting the waters as He parted the Red Sea, and the anticipation of a new miracle is the result. Instantly, the 'down' thinking has been replaced with hope and joy.

What word do you stand on during upsetting times? I have been using Isaiah 54:17, and I repeat it about 20 times until it penetrates my mind. With each repetition, the hope becomes a solid thought. It's beautiful.

Here's the verse, according to the American King James Version: No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, said the LORD.

When you stand on the Word, you stand in a position where God helps you. You know deep inside of you that He will pick you up when you're down.

No weapon that is thrown towards you shall prosper. That includes health problems, gossip, sarcastic comments, criminal actions, financial woes, judgments against you, personal relationship issues, and any other type of trouble.

No weapon that is thrown towards you shall prosper. Not with the Lord on your side.

If you have never turned your life over to the Lord Jesus Christ, do so now. You'll never regret it. Stand on His Word for your strength and you will observe astonishing shifts in your life occur.Write them down! You'll want to tell others of His goodness.

No weapon that is thrown towards you shall prosper.

From what I can tell, this is a new blog you've started here. It looks like you're off on the right foot. The scripture is certainly a great place to start any endevor. Continue the good work of exhorting and encouraging others. God bless.

standing on the Word is our only voluntary weapon in this zany world ... I started with IS 1:18 and the Lord has been adding others to me, as my understanding (spiritual growth allows) Thank you for the nice response to my post on Spiritual Zealot ...
