Free Birthday Scrapbook Paper Designs

I've probably spent a small fortune on birthday paper in my handmade-card-making career. (Well, it's not exactly a career; I just like to make handmade cards.) Anyway, the papers end up costing quite a bit by the time you get all the colors and patterns you want. And I always seemed to need one that I didn't buy to finish off a design, which frustrated me. So I was excited when I realized that I could just make my own paper designs with Picnik, the free online graphics program. As anyone who scrapbooks knows, the same papers that work great for birthday card backgrounds also are perfect for scrapbooking. So these paper designs can serve many purposes, including serving as wrapping paper for small gifts. I tried that using one of my flower scrapbook papers to wrap a CD I gave someone for a birthday and it came out beautifully.
