Blastoff network is a new site that acts as a portal to many of online content most people use everyday including multimedia, news feeds, games, and perhaps most exciting online shopping.

If you signup for a free blastoff account and use the links to major online stores like Target you will be payed a cash back commission just for doing the shopping you normally would. In addition you also get a smaller percentage of any purchases made by people you invite to the network who do the same. I've just been sent an email saying that there will be further delays in the launch period. They are pushing back the launch so I will not be able to send invitations out on Monday the 11th, they have not disclosed when it will be launching but they have reassured me that it will be soon.

Additionally, there will still be a 2 week exclusivity period where only Pre-Paid Legal Associates are allowed to invite people before it is open to the general public AND the reduced associate price is being extended until the launch as well.

I will explain this using an easy to understand example...seeing sometimes makes it easier to understand.

The Example is as follows:

With Halloween just around the corner, it is possible that a person, 10 degrees away from you, will make a purchase at "Star Costumes" using the Blastoff Mail, and earns a cash back reward of 7%. Let's say they spent $100.00, not including taxes and shipping. This would mean that they personally earned $7.00 in their Blastoff acccount.

Blastoff will also pay its members for this purchase. It will EQUALLY distribute a portion of the sale across the shopper's up-line network. All this will be done without diminishing what the Original Shopper earned from the cash-back commission.

The follow is how the distribution will work based on the above example. Remember, everyone in the shopper's up-line network will get paid equally, even you who is 10 levels up from the shopper.

In order to decide what each person in the up-line network will earn on the sale, you have to take the shoppers commission and divide it by 3 and then by 10.

1. In other words first you would do this: $7.00/3 = $2.33.
2. Then you divide this by 10, like as follows: $2.33/10 = $0.23.

From these calculations, you can see that everyone in the shoppers up-line will make $0.23 from the purchase.

• To put this another way, let's say you have 8,000 people in your network, including your 10 levels. If each were to make this same purchase, even once a year, at this same percentage, you would earn $1,864.00. * If you were able to establish a network that had 80,000 people in it, and used the same example, you would earn $18,640.00.
• Better yet, imagine if your network grew to 590,000. This would make your commission $137,470.00.

That is totally amazing! Making $0.23 on one purchase doesn't seem like much, but when you put it into perspective, it can be mind blowing. You could make 6 figures just by having a large enough network, with each person making one purchase of $100 and a cash back percentage of 7% once a year! AWESOME!

Here are a some more Commission Examples:

Blastoff provides a member commission $25-$100 for every wireless plan a person buys, and then another $2 for every wireless contract that the person gets extended. Plus, if anyone in your first 10 network levels makes a wireless purchase, you will get $2 if it is a new activation and $1 if it is a renewal of an existing contract. Explaining a Pyramid

Wikipedia defines a pyramid scheme

as a untsustainable business system that includes trading of cash for the main purpose of recruiting others into the scam, and usually does not have a legitimate product or service that is sold.

The Federal Trade Commission or FTC defines it as:

a scheme where a consumer pays a membership charge to become a member of a system and buys a group of items and services like web-based mail, and the business dangles a great amount of commissions to the members who buy and resell the group. The FTC claims that such a business crosses the line to a pyramid scam if it does not tell the members that nearly all of their cash is kept, and it allows the members to perpetuate the scam using their products.

Pyramid scams typically use electronic mail to attempt to convince prospects that they are in fact MLM programs. MLM programs like Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay, Amway, ACN and Pre-Paid Legal services are often badmouthed, but they are legitimate because they sell real items, however pyramids do not.

So, is Blastoff a Pyramid Scheme in addition to an MLM?

Absolutely not! You do not have to pay anything to become a member. In order to generate an income when members in your circle buy something, you do not need to buy anything yourself. You do not need to purchase, keep inventory of or resell anything. You certainly are able to buy legitimate items from merchants if you or your network desire, however you do not have to do so to generate cash.
