Put a little music in your life.
Put a little music in your life.

Blasting music, in your car, or in your own home. All of us would prefer to hear our own kind of music everywhere we're at. For instance, I would like to hear some heavy rock music at Starbucks but of course, they wouldn't play those things. We have no choice but to listen to our music in our cars, or in our own home. We are forbidden indirectly by our world to blast our music just about everywhere, so of course when we're in our own homes or our cars, there's no reason to play our music only at a normal level of volume. We must blast it. The kind of sound that even the dead would hear.

It doesn't matter whether it's jazz, rock, fusion, techno, or any other genre. If you love music, you have the right to listen to it. I am indeed grateful for the ones who invented mp3 players and other portable music devices for we are now able to listen to our favorite artists and bands, on the go. Like gogurt, we now have, iPods.

For me, it's just not the same to listen to our music when I'm listening to it through headphones. I gotta have it out loud and just rock on with it. Now, I want to share the kind of music I listen to depending on my mood. Of course, you would have your own preference but here are some tracks that I think that could help you on these situations:

1. Sad and down? Do you want to enjoy that silent moment in your head and in your heart? Listen to some soft jazz and just feel what you're feeling right now. Reflect on things and think about how to make things better in your life. Listen to some instrumental for in your head, you make your own lyrics through vivid imagination. Play some Wes Montgomery, David Benoit or Adele. "Chasing Pavements." Listen to some Chris Botti.

2. Sad but... You want to get that sadness out of your system. You want to fight that feeling. You just want to relax and forget about your problems and maybe get it over with. I suggest listening to some dance music. Listen to techno or even mainstream RnB and just bop your head like your miles away from the your walls. Listen to some Beyonce, Katy Perry, and some Lady Gaga.

3. Happy and you just want to rock on. You just want to show the world that you're happy that day through music. Play classics and sing with it. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Play some nineties music like some Backstreet Boys. Even if you don't like them, that we'll show the world that you're in a happy mood and you just don't care.

4. Heartbroken? You want to just be in that moment for awhile. You just want to reflect and remember things? Well, you can play some soft rock. Some love songs like Rod Stewart's "I Don't Want To Talk About It," or some Michael Learns to Rock. You get a few tips on their songs, you get a few notes that says, "it's not the end of the world, just carry on."

5. You want to get wild. You just want to dance, be loose, and be crazy. I suggest some Britney Spears or a bit of hip-hop here and there.

6. Feel like raising some hell? You feel like you're a bad a**? Troublemaking? Going against authority and trends in life? Listen to some good indie music. Even if the lyrics isn't so much about troublemaking. Just go with Alter Bridge, Creed, or even Nickelback. Sometimes, the "indie-ness" of the beat just makes you want to pull some tricks. But I suggest not doing anything illegal. Just a suggestion.

7. Falling in love? You just found someone out there and you just can't stop thinking about that person. You just keep thinking on and on even when you sleep. Well, I suggest some Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Michael Buble.

8. You feel a little BritPop in you. You're feeling a bit English. Maybe, feeling too much English in yourself. Well, Play some U2, Coldplay, or Oasis. You just want to hear something meaningful for once in your life, listen to Sunday Bloody Sunday or Violet Hill.

Well that's about it. You get my idea these are just my suggestions. I'm just suggesting what to listen too. I'm sure you get the genre of these songs and how to bring them into your situation. Well that's what I listen to whenever I feel like listening to them. Whether I'm in the car or in my room, or somewhere. Even in the bathroom, yes I actually get my radio alarm clock and plug it in the bathroom. You know...

I love this hub! I do the exact same thing. Chris Botti is awesome! Sometimes I like a little Elvis, "Can't help falling in love." Or 80's melodic rock. I love a band called "Teer." When I'm angry, I'll play heavy classical like Wagner or Tchaikovsky. "Music hath soothed the savage beast." Thanks for this great hub!!

Good but it is better to play music instrumental, cause if you listening only you are feeling like seeing a movie-passes to your mind like a tv life.
