Drink Healthy Coffee & Live Longer

provided by Bskinny Coffee

Have you ever wondered if the coffee that you drink every day is good for you? Is it healthy? For years the debate has raged whether coffee has health benefits or is it bad for the body. Most medical professionals, if forced to answer whether or not coffee is healthy or unhealthy, would probably “hedge their bet” and answer that everything in our diet should be consumed in moderation. And while that is good advice; what if you knew that the coffee you enjoy every day was actually healthy and good for you?

How do you know if your Coffee is healthy?

An increasing amount of studies are coming out touting the beneficial properties of coffee. A study done that followed 28,000 different women for 11 years showed a link between drinking coffee and the prevention of diabetes. Over the course of the study, the women that drank four or more cups a day were 20% less likely to develop diabetes and the risk reduction was as high as 30-40% for women drinking decaf instead of regular. These are incredible results. Because diabetes is rapidly becoming an epidemic around the world, many people are looking for additional studies to prove the potential link between drinking coffee and reduction in risk of diabetes.

Over the years there has been a fair amount of information suggesting the potentially negative effects of drinking coffee. More recent studies however; indicate that your coffee is likely a healthy beverage! Researchers have found that coffee may help the body fight against many different diseases such as Parkinson’s, certain forms of cancer, and even diabetes. Even though studies indicate coffee is safe to drink and has solid health benefits, don’t replace your fruits, vegetables, & vitamins with it, just yet!

What is it about coffee that makes it healthy? Researchers believe the antioxidants found in coffee can help reduce the risk of cancer. In addition, drinking coffee has been shown to help cleanse the bowels much more efficiently, which is believed by many to keep people prone to intestinal cancer from developing the disease. Other studies seem to show a link between drinking coffee and a reduction of instances in breast cancer as well as colon cancer, two of the more common types of cancer in the world today.

While your coffee may in fact be a healthy beverage that is good for you, always keep in mind the sage advice of “everything in moderation”. Anything in excess, even healthy coffee, may be problematic. Another way to insure that your coffee is as healthy and good for you as possible is to buy organic coffee free of pesticides and harmful chemicals. Organic Coffees can be found in most grocery stores or quality online retailers. There are even some sites that have organic fat-burning coffee. Drink up & be healthy!

Thank you for the comment. It is really surprising when you start looking into the benefits of coffee. For years I had read and thought that coffee was bad for us, but that's not really the case at all. Other than water or perhaps fresh squeezed juice, it is probably the best thing you could drink
