Many of us have a dream of not having to feel subservient to our boss. Our lives are controlled by money and to get money we have to work. When we are at work every minute of the day we are controlled by our employer to do whatever they expect us to do. You don't have to do it but if you don't you can expect to be out of the door before long.

Working is great for giving us a steady income to pay the bills but many of us miss out on a lot of the pleasure we should have in our lives. Working is a drag but we have to pay the bills somehow and it is all very well saying you don't want the job but you do want the money so finding an alternative way of earning money could change the quality of your life and the life of your family.

We have all seen offers of wealth for almost no effort and we all know that most of these schemes are dubious at best and possibly complete scams. There are a lot of plans, tutorials and systems available that do offer the possibility of making some money online but in so many cases people seem to find it just doesn't work for them.

Making money online is real and it is possible to make fortunes but you have to either be a marketing genius or have a sound plan to follow that will take you step by step through all the details and explanations of all processes you need to take to build an online business.

I have looked at plenty of these and in most cases I am sure they have worked for the original author of the plan but somehow it doesn't seem to work so well when everyone else who bought the plan gets involved.

What we need is something fresh, not something that has worked in the past but used ideas that no longer work so well. We want to build a business online that can grow and develop and become a worthwhile part of the web that will continue to make us money for years to come.

There are other ways of making money online and some of them can give you an additional income just by doing a little work online when you feel like it. Nothing in life comes easy but this one I looked at seems to offer a lot more than most and I am trying it out myself.

Everything on the internet is about information and that may be free content or paid content but it all comes in the form of written information. It may be articles or an online book or even a hardback book bought through Amazon or one of the other online booksellers but the internet is all about information.

You can make money supplying some of the demand for knowledge and there are probably lots of things you know about that other people would want to know. They might even be prepared to pay you for that info.

Start out by writing articles for hubpages and similar sites and then you can develop your online business to include your own website about the subject and perhaps even write an ebook to sell online.

We all have knowledge from our experiences of life and work and we can share that with other people and if there is a small profit to be made from the sharing all the better for us and everyone who benefits from our knowledge. All this can be done working from home and building a stream of additional income which will hopeful grow and increase.
