Build Your Own Solar Panels At Home For Under $200 And Save Money On Electricity
How Can You Build Your Own Solar Panels?
Do you want to build your own solar panels to save money on monthly electricity bills? Or perhaps money is not your main concern – maybe you are looking for a clean, environmentally friendly source of electricity for your home.
One very popular option is installation of solar panels. The solar panels turn plain sunlight into useable electricity, which is then fed into your home’s electrical system. The problem, however, with most solar panel installations is the sheer cost – often upwards of $5000, $6000 for a decent residential system.
Fortunately, there is a second option available to those who are willing to do some simple research, make a trip to the local hardware store, and spend half a Saturday putting together their own home made solar panels. The savings are tremendous – with expertly written guides available on the internet, it is now possible to build your own solar panels for under a couple of hundred dollars.
This may seem like a joke or a far-fetched idea to some, but the fact is that thousands of homeowners across the US and Europe have built their own solar panels in their garages, have installed them, and are enjoying the advantages of free, clean electricity fed directly into their home’s existing electrical systems.
Material lists, step-by-step instructions complete with pictures and videos, and much more are available from several websites.

As someone who has experience of the renewable energu industry I fail to see how this can be classed as a real practical option. The major cost of solar panels are the solar cells, and the cost of manufacturing these is very high. In fact, in a typical home system half the cost of the system, if not more is due to the cost of the solar cell manufacture. Also I have found that the site links to sites where there is a need to pay to get this guide on how to get cheap solar panels.
