I love Guitar Hero!
Ok, so I am not a huge video game fan or gamer or junkie but I love Guitar Hero. I play the guitar for a couple local bands in San Diego but when I aint got sh*t to do, I play Guitar Hero. This guy from my band introduced me to it one night when we got bored with practice and I have been addicted every since.
It is really easy to play or learn to play. I have seen two year olds on youtube bust Guitar Hero like they were born to play! No, seriously I should hook you up with some videos.
The tutorials, or instructions are super good too; it takes you step by step while you are playing so it is really easy to figure out. If you already play guitar then the easy setting will probably be too easy, so go ahead and start on medium.
And now they got Rock Band! Yeah!!! It comes with the drums, mic, and guitar so you and your friends can make some noise. Plus I love "battles", mostly because I am a girl and can kick a lot of peoples butts at Guitar Hero as well as real guitar too, soo...yeah...

Soundtracks that kickas*
Rock the 80s has songs like:
- The Warrior by Twisted Sister
- I Wanna Rock by Judas Priest
- Nothing but a Good Time by Poison
- Turning Japanese by The Vapors
- Seventeen by Winger
- We Got the Beat by The Go Go's
- In the Heat of the Moment by Asia
- Someone Like You by (I think) Van Morrison
and the list goes on. Most of the songs I know from the 80's but there are a couple that I have never heard of before, but don't worry there is only a couple. Most of the songs on 80s Rock are pretty easy but a few of them are really friggin hard even on medium. Nonetheless, it is still a lot of fun and it is one of the cheaper Guitar Hero games.

Guitar Hero II soundtrack
Ok, I won't go into detail with the band names on this game because most of them you probably already know unlike 80s Rock.
- You Really Got Me
- War Pigs
- Beast and the Harlot
- Carry on Wayward Son
- Hear Shaped Box
- Killing in the name Of
- Sweet Child O'Mine
- Message in a Bottle
- Shout at the Devil
- Surrender
- Mother
and again, a lot of other really good songs which makes it a lot easier to play if you know them too.
Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero (the first one) are pretty good too but I haven't played the Aerosmith one yet. Anyways, Guitar Hero is a lot of fun for anyone and I mean anyone except maybe those posers who think they can rock a real guitar and then try and play Guitar Hero and realize that when their friends kept telling them "Dude, you do not rock," that they were not lying.
Oh, these games also come on PS3, Wii, and XBox 360 so I will hook you up with an added Amazon astore for Guitar Hero link so you don't accidentally buy a game for the wrong video game console.

Whats that old adage about talking to yourself is OK as long as you dont answer????
:)
Anyhow, Guitar hero rocks! I've been a fan since the first one! But no matter how much I play, my pinky and that damned orange button do not get along. I can use it on a real guitar just fine, but for some reason, it doesnt like the orange button on the controller.
Funny thing about that stupid orange button that I learned in hindsight. Should started playing with your pointer finger on the red button first. ;) *wink*
Yo! I am also a huge fan! It's good to meet other fans because there are so many video game haters out there it's ridiculous! You can come check out my story if you want. If not, I thank you for the info you have shared! Have a gr8 day! :-)
