Get Over The Fear

The biggest problem when embarking into the world of any taboo is getting there. Buying sex toys can be really embarrassing. People tend to think about it for a very long time before actually making their first purchase. They go online and find tons of "fun' stuff but choke at making the buy. Paranoia begins to take over, "If I use my credit card will people find out? Will I be on some weird mailing and the neighbors/mailman will know?" They are actually paranoid over themselves. The mind really starts playing tricks on them.

Mars and Venus once again. Men and woman approach sex toy buying very differently. The men seem to have a power thing and cool factor that go along with it. Many woman have their male partners buy the items. Woman for the most part feel more insecure. They are less likely to go into a store and buy a toy than a man.  However, once a female breaks the fear barrier she is on a roll. Online buying offers the fearful the best option. However there is nothing like the feeling of actual shopping to fulfill your sensory needs. A sex toy shop can be really fun and the people that work there are very helpful and know buyers are embarrassed and act accordingly.  They even offer black shopping bags so other shoppers can not see what you are buying.

Once the fear is gone and both men and woman feel very liberated about there sexuality.

Why?

Why do people buy sex toys? The obvious answer is FUN. However, this is far too simple. Sex toys can bring forth various feelings in a person. Feelings such as power, sensuality, excitement, deviance, taboo, or simply aid in curing boredom and tedium sex. People can become very empowered with the use of sex toys which can really change their outlook on many things in their lives.

Why not? There is s social stigma associated with sex toys that really doesn't need to be there. Odd people use them. Weirdos work and go to the "sex stores". For the most part sex toys are used in the privacy of one's own home, with the consent of two adults, and someone you trust and therefore completely safe.

There is one possible down fall to sex toy play.  If one becomes too reliant on sex toys they may forget the importance of one on one personal intimacy without sex toys.  Too much of anything is not good.  People need people and nothing can replace true human interaction on a very BASIC LEVEL.

What To Get.......

There are a plethora of sex toys ranging from the mundane to the extreme.  There are items that you could not even imagine until you actually see them at a store or online.  People usually start out with the safe sex toys.  For example, oils, gels, garters and stockings.  They move to items such as smaller vibrators, bullets, role play, and videos.  Once someone becomes comfortable with items they can move on to larger vibrators, gentle whips, handcuffs, nipple clamps, penis extenders and so on.

Everything is not for everyone!  Some people derive great pleasure and satisfaction from just a few items and dabble here and there. Others desire the more "taboo" items and go full force into the world of sex toy mania.

Sex toys have helped many people become more aware of what they want sexually.  They can enlighten people to a whole new sexual awareness.  Sex toys can help long term relationships rekindle that old spark.  They can help the single gal or guy keep satisfied without a partner.

All In All

All in all sex toys are not some evil deviant past-time. Life is short why not enjoy it. Take control of your sexuality. If there is something you desire or need share that with yourself or a partner. It is up to you to make yourself happy.  Enjoy!

Where To Go

There are a myriad of places to buy sex toys.  Today there are Sex Toy Shops in almost every city.  There are several at home party groups such as Fantasia that supply safe sex toy buying in your own home or a friends.  The Internet is probably the biggest supplier of sex toys today. If you Google sex toys you will be overwhelmed with what comes up.  One should be careful to choose a reputable site. Below are a list of sites that I found.  I can not vouch for any particular site they are for informational purposes only.

Keeping an open mind and let fantasy and pleasure be your guide.I am not a big toy person at this point in time. But who knows what tomorrow will bring. It would be nice to see peoples responses to the toys they have enjoyed and even the ones that they didn't like.I will return with my own results of my first toy purchase after I decide which one. Thanks for sharing.

Good idea. I should research what works and doesn't, get imput. I think people, especially, here are not very likely to add their opinions. Too bad.

I am a very good client of Adam&Eve I love their toys, I have tons of them. The lingerie is not that good though, but it is ok if you just buy it for fun and once you become a client you get lots of freebies with every purchase.

Hello there,

Thanks for sharing these titillatingly taboo toys.

I do have one suggestion though, and that would be to try and align the pictures a bit more with the text capsules.

Good luck, and keep it coming!
