Cafe Wha? in New York City.

I went to New York City this March and I asked my sister that I wanna go see some live bands. What she had in mind instantly was to visit this joint called Cafe Wha? I asked her what it was about and she said that it's a live band club in The Village at Manhattan. They offer food, entertainment and drinks. For me, that sounds fun.

The next day we went to The Village at Manhattan and ate at this restaurant called "The Olive Tree," or at least that's what I remember. We ate there and waited until around 7:30 p.m and got in line outside of Cafe Wha? It was a saturday. I read outside of the club that Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen used to play there. Now, that boosted their credibility.

I suggest that if you're going to New York City, you have to visit this club. It's a basement club. It's not that big and there's not much hip hop going on. It's all about music there. Live performances and sometimes stand-up comedy routines. Actually, Bill Cosby used to perform there. That's what I read.

You can buy food and drinks while sitting and just listening to these guys perform. The Cafe Wha? House band. They are labeled the best live band in New York City. Where can you go wrong with that?

The house band plays all sorts of music. Rock, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Funk, Country, Reggae, Pop, you name it. It's worth visiting. I think the entrance fee is $15. It's great price for a great show. If you love music, you'll love it. The band has that chemistry, I think they could go major. They have the potential to be a major label band especially with their reputation in New York.

The members of The Cafe Wha? Band have their own individual approach to music. Some are into Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Who. Some are into Jennifer Hudson and Mariah Carey. One member could be into Radiohead, Aerosmith, and C.C.R. They play all sorts of music.

The Cafe Wha? Band plays every Wednesday to Sunday. You can actually make reservations. Call them or do it online.
