Los Angeles and Las Vegas Background Checks

ID Theft - "It Ain't Happening to My Daughter"

One evening last winter I was surfing the ‘Net, and I came across an interesting website on background checks. The site caught my interest because of the number of resources it had at its disposal in order to retrieve the requested information within minutes. The site could access criminal records on anybody, and utilize court records, conviction and jail inmate records as well as public records to extract the data. I put the information I had reviewed under advisement. Little did I know that it may have helped our family to avoid a catastrophe a few months later.

My Daughter Goes to Las Vegas and Meets Darth Vader

Last spring, my daughter, Emma, went to Vegas with some friends on school break. She generally phones or e-mails my wife daily, so it was no surprise that she called one evening from Vegas. She told us that she met this guy from Southern California who seemed too good to be true, and that they had spent the day together.

Emma called my wife the next morning, and asked to speak with me. Emma told me that Chris had asked if she could pay for an extra day's stay at the hotel, since he was scheduled to leave the next day but wanted to stay with her. He promised her that he would send her the money as soon as he returned home.

Background Checks Pay Off Big Time

My antenna for trouble went sky-high, and I remembered the site for background checks. I accessed the background checks website and inserted his name and approximate age. My heart was pounding as my thoughts ran wild, especially remembering that poor girl who went to Aruba a few springs ago on school break and never returned to her family in Louisiana.

Sure enough, within minutes the search had produced results. The guy, Chris, was 27 years old, not 25 as he had told my daughter. The background checks had produced a criminal records history that made me see red - two convictions for credit card fraud and identity theft, one that was a misdemeanour and the other a felony. A check of his financial records showed that he was a real maneuverer, and it suggested that he intended to steal my daughter's identity.

Background Checks Save the Day

We were a fortunate family last spring. I called Emma on her cell immediately upon receiving the background checks information, and she used a pretext to get away from him. We were lucky, and I hope you will be also.

Shady characters like Chris are just waiting to take advantage of your son or daughter or another loved one. Don't wait and be sorry. Take the first step when someone makes you feel uneasy. Your instincts tell you that something is just not right, but you can't put your finger on it.

Background checks research the databases for criminal records, U.S. public records, property and commercial records and financial records, and will get you the information you need in order to protect your loved ones.

Citizens of California, Nevada and Florida where crime is rampant - and indeed all 50 states will benefit from being able to search government databases at will so as to dig out the facts about people who are causing them doubts, fear or intuitive suspicions. The Internet Age of Information can work firmly to your advantage when you learn what to do, and any home or office computer with an Internet connection is all the equipment you'll need.

Helping U.S. Citizens Protect Their Freedom

Good luck for a safe season on the freeways, highways and byways of California State. Avoid the bushfires and the road rage of the most populated state.
