Even so if you are the kind of person who can not leave the house without any make up on, you may be in danger of getting cancer. I dont mean to scare you, but maybe Something to consider next time you go shopping fot beauty products. Recently a lipstick brand by the name, Red Earth decreased their prices from $67 to $9.90. Yes, I guess the deal is good but for your health? It is like buying yourself a disease. Beliave it or not the lipstick can cause cancer. The lipstick contains lead, this is a metal and the compaunds of this metal is known to cause cancer.

The lipstick and beauty products that contain lead include:

• Christian dior,
• Lancome,
• Clinique,
• Y.Sl. Estee Lauder,
• Shiseido Red, Earth lip gloss,
• Chanel Lip conditioner. Market,
• America Motnes lipstick

The high the amount of lead the greater the chances of causing cancer. A test was done and is now a concret evidence against Y...SL products.It was proved that they contain the highest amount of lead. Another thing to concider is lipsticks which stay for long. Watch out, If your lipstick stays longer it is because of the high lead content

After all is said and done, nothing has been done to stop the production of the above beauty products, So it is up to you and me to stop those greedy people who think of just making money and do not give adem about your health. There are also some which I have not listed here and just to give a tip, all those cheap beauty products and especially those that stay long may contain lead.

You do not have to worry so much anyway, I said I do not mean to scare you. To be on the safe side,

you can do a simple test yourself.

1. put some lipstick on the pulm of your hand.
2. scratch on the lipstick using a Gold metal, it can be an ear ring, a ring, a bracelet or a necklace
3. If the lipstick colour changes to black, then you can be certain that the lipstick contains lead.
