This is a little hands-on review about my DSLR Canon EOS 40D. You won't see a comprehensive review but my personal experience with the gear. Hope you enjoy the read.
Canon EOS 40D is also called a "prosumer" digital SLR, I suppose prosumer means professional consumer wanna be, :D. Anyhow, the built in feature in this camera need getting used to and one who has a little more experience with SLR type camera would find it at home but one who is just beginning to play with SLR type comera would find it a little bit hard to handle. So I guess that is why it is called the prosumer digital SLR. A consumer camera would be the entry level DSLR like Canon 300D, 350D and 400D and also the newly introduced Canon EOS 450D.
And as such, it won't be able to behave like the normal digital camera where you can view whatever things you want to photograph through the in camera LCD monitor. But this camera is one of the new line of DSLR that feature the "Live-View" where one can view through the monitor but since this is a new technology, 40D won't let you auto focus in a "Live View" mode.
