Captains of IPL Twenty20

Which team will win this inaugural IPL twenty20 tournament.

An analysis of all the teams playing and the arrival to the conclusion on the winning team that could cap it.

There has been a virtual failure of all captains in iplt20 matches. The exceptions are Sehwag and to a certain extent Dhoni then comes Shane Warne who is coming out better.

VVS Laxman looks a sorry affair in is captaincy. He seems so soft and gentle, but his own failures in batting etc makes his team very weak. Close to him is the case of Dravid. They show it clearly that they are suitable to play only test matches and not twenty20 matches.

Next comes Yuvaraj, he too has been failing. Harbajan the least said about him is better. He is a stand-out captain and now the BCCI themselves have asked him to stand-out from all matches until the latest controversy surrounding him is cleared involving Sreeshant. He slapped Sreeshant and the BCCI has slapped him with ban from playing until the verdict is delivered on this episode.

Ganguly who was interested in playing twenty20 matches now should regret himself. He would have known by now that how difficult it is for him to get adjusted to pitch and start going on the bowling from the first ball itself.

Thus VVS Laxman, Dravid, Ganguly, Yuvaraj, Dhoni all struggle during the first few balls that they face.

Taking all this into account, now we can come to the conclusion that Sehwag stands out tall from all others in this part of the game.

So his team stands a better chance to win the IPL twenty20 tournament. The next favourite is Chennai Super Kings.

Third comes Kolkatta Knight Riders, thus these three are certain to enter the semi-final stage.

The fourth team to enter the semi-final could be anyone from the following.

Rajasthan Royals having won 3 matches already has a bright chance to making it to the semi-final easily. Team Bangalore has also more chances since as the matches goes by other teams will loose their key players. The one team that could be writed off fully is the Mumbai team. The same is with the Deccan Chargers.

The final could be between Delhi Daredevils and Chennai Super Kings.

And again the favourite to win the tournament is Delhi Daredevils.

Luck has been favouring always Dhoni and hence his Team Chennai cannot be ruled out altogether from winning the inauguaral IPL tournament.

Shewag of Delhi Daredevils just makes 6 runs against Mohali team captained by Yuvaraj and eventually the team looses to Mohali.

Now the only team that is undefeated is Chennai Super Kings. All other teams have lost with one or the other team.

The captain of Rajasthan Royals Shane Warne is super charged and electrifies his teammates with shower of encouragements, love and patting of his youngsters, the opposite is with Dhoni the captain of Chennai Super Stars. Luck is going with Dhoni and he is least concerned with his team mates. His team selection is not good, when there are local lads of Chennai ready to take on any team of the world and blast them he is not giving opportunities for them. So the odds favour Shane Warne unless Dhoni avoids going early to bat in the innings and plays selfish defensive game thus wasting balls and overs.

If Chennai looses it is because of Dhoni alone and if Rajasthan wins it is because of Shane Warne.

Finally whoever wins here could also become the contender for the IPL inaugural twenty20 tournament.
